I work for an infant (vent)

So, it appears that I've managed to secure myself another afternoon of the silent treatment (I say "another" because I got the ST yesterday after disagreeing with one of his dumber suggestions).  Today's silent treatment is the result of a disagreement over conjunctions.  Yes, the correct usage of "or" vs. "and" has prompted my boss to stop speaking to me this afternoon.

It's not an entirely bad thing--I prefer that he leave me alone--but I can't believe he's in the position that he's in when he consistently behaves like an inept 10-year old.

  • WOW.  Wow.  That's just ridiculous.  I'm sorry you have to deal with such pathetic and immature behavior from your boss.  I had a long string of terrible bosses, so I feel your pain!
  • Wait, wait, wait. Was he using "or" in place of "and"?

    That is silly.

Actually, he was using "and" in place of "or."  I won the battle because I was able to explain why his way was incorrect, which is probably what irritated him more than anything.
