S/O clothes: My name is Motzie, and I am a dress addict.
Somebody stop me! I don't need any more dresses, yet I keep buying them. I bought 3 last week. They were only $30 a piece, but still. It's not like I live in Southern California where I could where them year round either.
At last count I had over 200, counting everything from sundresses to formal ones.
Confession: I have another one in my J Crew shopping cart right now.

I can't even wrap my head around this.
If you feel the need to get rid of any, you know where I live.
I have a sundress problem, too. It is nowhere near the extent of yours, but I do think (wish) I lived in a place that I could wear them year-round. One day...
eta-- I bought a fancy-ish dress at Anthropologie with absolutely no place to wear it.
LOL if it makes you feel better, I did just buy a black pencil skirt for a wedding I attended.
I hate dresses. For one thing, I'm incredibly top-heavy and kind of puffy around the middle, and I've never found anything that looks even half-decent on me or like I have giant torpedos shooting out of my torso. I'm beyond uncomfortable in a dress.
I love dresses but don't have the figure for them. It is safe to say, if I looked like you, I would wear them every day.
Keep shopping and tell yourself that you are buying them for those who can't.
I'm both impressed at your 200 dresses and sad for myself and my own wardrobe.
I'd like to look tall and slim. Link please?
Ho. Lee. Shiiit.
200 DRESSES. WOMAN.
Hey, you're hot. Work it.
Could you take a picture of your closet? Please? I bet you don't even have a closet do you? I bet you have a ROOM.
Throw me a bone here, I want to live vicariously through you and your wardrobe.
Huber - I will remember that every time I find a new dress.
Dpeugh - DH and I share a modest walk-in closet, but most of my dresses are jammed in an Ikea wardrobe, with some more in a spare bedroom closet. It's not a pretty site in there right now.
For the record, I'd say 80% of them were less than $40, some of them way less. I'm a bargain shopper, for the most part.
It was at TJ Maxx so I can't find a link - but it's a Calvin Klein full-length jersey dress, same top/skirt style as this but full length:
... and it's this color:
I used to only wear dresses and skirts to work. Even at that time I didn't have anywhere near 200! I probably haven't even had that many in my whole lifetime!
Now underwear and bras...I might be close to that.
You say this-
But I'm picturing this-
I am picturing *my* modest walk in closet which I can't imagine sharing and I don't even have 200 dresses, hehe. One of my spare bedrooms is set up like a closet but I'm resisting the urge to turn it into a dressing room a la that photo because if Mr. Bang and the little dude move in we'll need to use it for general storage and office type stuff.
Oooh, I want a black one too! Haha.
I'm trying to figure out how to style the blue one for work, and I'm not really sure it can be done.
I love dresses and skirts! I daresay in warm weather I probably wear pants to work maybe a couple times a month. And that would be on casual day where I can wear jeans.
Do you have any little, crisp cropped blazers? Not super cropped up to your arm pitts or anything, but something that hits more at the waist than the hips? With shorter sleeves, or sleeves you could roll.
I have a cropped black blazer with 3/4 sleeves, and a fitted dark denim jacket I usually wear w/rolled sleeves, maybe one of those would work!
