1. Is there a particular song that gets your kid movin' and groovin'?
Beyonce- Single Ladies and LMFAO Sexy and I know it.
2. Will you filter the music your child listens to, will they listen to what you listen to or will you embrace them finding their own musical preferences?
I will probably start to filter it soon. I usually listen to the radio, so at least there aren't swear words. He listens to a lot of sunday school type songs at home.
3. How does your kid react to loud noises? Vacuum? Fireworks? Crowds? Firetrucks? Motorized objects?
He loves noise.
4. Is your kids a talker or a thinker?
Um... neither? He still doesn't have many words. He talks, but it sure as heck isn't english.
1. Is there a particular song that gets your kid movin' and groovin'?
Flo Rida's Good Feeling, LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem, and she LOVES Taylor Swift.
2. Will you filter the music your child listens to, will they listen to what you listen to or will you embrace them finding their own musical preferences?
I have to be careful even now because we have XM radio and it's uncensored on several stations. DH and I typically listen to sports talk radio or 80s/90s stations which I can mostly trust. As she gets older, I won't want her listening to filth, but I don't mind songs with messages we can discuss, etc.
3. How does your kid react to loud noises? Vacuum? Fireworks? Crowds? Firetrucks? Motorized objects?
She doesn't care. Our families are so loud she probably has built up a tolerance. She used to hate the vacuum though.
4. Is your kids a talker or a thinker?
Talker. She's always telling everyone about what she's seeing, what she's thinking, what she did yesterday, etc. No shock there considering who her parents are.
1. Is there a particular song that gets your kid movin' and groovin'?
Zac LOVES Nicki Manaj's Super Bass ... started at Panera one morning with him just busting out, "Booom booom booom SUPER BASS!"
2. Will you filter the music your child listens to, will they listen to what you listen to or will you embrace them finding their own musical preferences?
Not really, but yes, obviously I'd like a little filter, but I also want him to like music, all kinds. My mom listened to everything from Reba to Ozzy when I was growing up, and I think because of that I have a similar love for liking it all. Like Star, as he gets older, I won't want him listening to filth, but I don't mind any kind of music.
3. How does your kid react to loud noises? Vacuum? Fireworks? Crowds? Firetrucks? Motorized objects?
He's weird. Loves the vacuum, thinks it's a game. But hates motorized objects, at Christmas someone got a remote helicopter and Zac hated the thing.
4. Is your kids a talker or a thinker?
Talker. He does not shut up, and he has sooo many clear, understandable words.
We don't listen to actual music often, so there are a lot of theme songs from shows she loves. For a while she loved the LMFAO song used in the Kia commercial and would dance like the robots/hamsters.
2. Will you filter the music your child listens to, will they listen to what you listen to or will you embrace them finding their own musical preferences?
I would like to filter it for a while. There are some pop songs I just don't care for her to hear. S&M is one that I really don't want her singing along to. I've been listening to country in the car again, since it has lyrics I can trust to not be too bad.
3. How does your kid react to loud noises? Vacuum? Fireworks? Crowds? Firetrucks? Motorized objects?
She has no problem with noises.
4. Is your kids a talker or a thinker?
A talker. She can have conversations with adults and they don't often look at me for interpretation.
1. Is there a particular song that gets your kid movin' and groovin'?
The only music she really reacts to is her Christmas CD from school (LOL). She had it at home to help her learn the songs and "dance moves" for their little show. She is OBSESSED with "Donkey" (Dominick the Donkey). and yes, I know it's February.
2. Will you filter the music your child listens to, will they listen to what you listen to or will you embrace them finding their own musical preferences?
I listen to my radio stations in the car with her. She's never really shown she was listening much. I know she is, and it's all censored, but she's never picked up a song from the radio really.
3. How does your kid react to loud noises? Vacuum? Fireworks? Crowds? Firetrucks? Motorized objects?
Used to hate the vacuum - but hasn't heard it in a long time (hello, cleaning lady while we're all out of the house). In general, she just comments on them. Hears an airplane, a dog, something beeping in the house, etc and has to say "woof", "airplane", "beep", etc.
4. Is your kids a talker or a thinker?
Talker. From the moment she gets up "Mamaaaaa!...." until the moment she goes to bed "Night, night. Kiss. Night, night...". etc.

1. Is there a particular song that gets your kid movin' and groovin'?
Kellen and Tessa both love to dance, and I have no idea where they got it from. DH and I aren't dancers. Any song really gets them movin', but they especially like LMFAO.
2. Will you filter the music your child listens to, will they listen to what you listen to or will you embrace them finding their own musical preferences?
DH and I love music and listen to all different kinds. As long as the lyrics are clean, I don't mind them listening to it. I really only ever listen to country in the car with them.
3. How does your kid react to loud noises? Vacuum? Fireworks? Crowds? Firetrucks? Motorized objects?
Kellen is terrified of most loud noises and crowds. Tessa isn't bothered by any f the above.
4. Is your kids a talker or a thinker?
Kellen is the thinker, Tessa is the talker. She is never quiet. She is just like her dad.
2. Will you filter the music your child listens to, will they listen to what you listen to or will you embrace them finding their own musical preferences? I grew up listening to the radio and whatever my mom listened to, so we basically do the same. We just listen to the Top 40 type songs... hence the reason Abby loves Lady Gaga, etc..
3. How does your kid react to loud noises? Vacuum? Fireworks? Crowds? Firetrucks? Motorized objects? Abby loves fireworks!!! Nothing seems to bother her... although the girls do run to me when the dog starts barking!
4. Is your kids a talker or a thinker? OMG my girls are all talkers! They don't shut up!! Although Lily seems to be our "thinker" of the bunch cause she isn't as talkative as Hannah and Abby.

2. Will you filter the music your child listens to, will they listen to what you listen to or will you embrace them finding their own musical preferences? We don't listen to a lot of radio music so I'm not worried about that too much. I don't plan on filtering too much. Right now she listens to what we listen to but I'm sure as she gets older she'll find her own stuff and that's awesome.
3. How does your kid react to loud noises? Vacuum? Fireworks? Crowds? Firetrucks? Motorized objects? She's fine with them
4. Is your kids a talker or a thinker? Talker. In fact, I don't think she's ever not talking.
