Runners: Clicky Poll
I have done my share of running shoe shopping over the years, and always find myself frustrated. It seeems like trail shoes always come in the best colors, and my (road) shoes are always silvery white with some lame accent color. I want badass black shoes with some other badass color in there too!
Does anyone else care about shoe color? Give the choice of these, what would you choose? Same shoe, different colors.

I'm totally hoping that when I need new shoes, there will be a recently-discontinued-and-therefore-on-sale black version. I'm so tired of white/gray with one accent color.

I like the third ones the best.
and I do care about how my shoes look. but if they only have the shoe I want in one color I usually buy it. unless it was a truly horrific color.
I'm currently rocking some stupid looking running shoes that I only bought because they were the only color of the shoe in stock. case in point: some dude at the grocery store told me that my shoes were 'too cute to be wearing around in this weather'. this weather=some slush from the wintry mix the night before.

FYI: Black shoes make you look slow and heavy.
They draw your eye to your feet and make your feet look like heavy bricks.

I voted for the third ones.
And yes, the look of the shoe is important to me. DH made fun of me when I bougth new shoes recently. They gave me three pairs to try on. I tried on the ones I thought were the prettiest, they felt good, I bought them. Didn't even try on the other two pairs!

just wish i had a choice--have big gorilla feet requiring wide with so always get stuck with the lame white/silver color combo. my feet/legs/knees thank me but i always feel like i'm sporting some kind of orthopedic shoe.
Gorilla feet! My brother has wide, hairy feet and he calls them "Fred Flintstone feet."

yeah, those are frigging awesome. i gotta get me a pair like that next time around!
They are the Adidas Oscillation brand. I tried several different shoes on before deciding on these. Not gonna lie, the colors are what partially made me pick them. But now that I've gotten a few good runs in them, I am completely satisfied with my pick. : )

i did the same exact thing. i even ordered them online so i could get the color i wanted, which wasn't available in stores!
