Healthy product? yay or nay?

Hello,

I often lurk on these boards, more than I post.

I have recently been introduced to a product called Xocai (I am not promoting) I actually just went to a tasting party last night.

They claim to have many health benefits to their multiple cold-pressed chocolate products. I am considering  adding these rather expensive chocolate squares to my daily super food intake, and also thought a power square might be a good alternative to GU during my long runs.

I value all of your opinions and would love to know if any of you are presently using it, or have heard any good/bad reviews?

  • Just buy dark chocolate at the grocery store

  • I say no..... Have you googled it and read about it? You'd be better off buying $100 worth of.real chocolate and real blueberries.
  • Yeah just by dark chocolate. This sounds like a gimmick.

  • Thanks for the replies Ladies.

While I am not sure whether any of the chocolate sold at grocery stores is cold-pressed, I will look further into it.

I have google and read as much as I can about the Xocai product, and everything I read seems to say it is a very healthy and true product.

Although the cost is just too staggering at this time in my life to justify spending 100+ per month on one type of healthy food.

What in the world would be the point in spending that money when you can just buy some blueberries or pomegranates, eat some good, dark chocolate, and be done with it?

Their super duper supposed health benefits in no way outweigh the cost.
