London/UK Nesties - Recs Please
Ladies, DH and I will be popping into London for a few days in April (it is the tailend of a trip to Italy).
I used to live in London many years okay and have been many times since. DH has been as well, so we don't need to see the major sites.
I am trying to find anything new that might be fun to check out. We are thinking of hitting up Harwood Arms Gastro Pub and Borough Market.
We are also thinking we may do a bus tour. I know it is cheesy, but we love doing them in every major city we go to. Any recommendations on good ones?
We are staying in the Paddington area.
TIA
(I am xposting this on other boards as well).

Hi!
This is the bus tour we usually suggest our company enjoy: http://www.theoriginaltour.com/
One potential thing you might not have have done is the ceremony of the keys at the Tower of London. You just have to write to get permission: http://www.hrp.org.uk/TowerOfLondon/WhatsOn/ceremonyofthekeys
I've never been, but were going in April with my IL.
I really like Borough Market, you'll enjoy it.
I'll have a think about new things...
Do a London Walk! You can explore different areas of London and they are really amazing - the guides know so much!
Note that Borough Market is a bit smaller than usual as they do work around the area - still worth going. I'd suggest eating the chorizo sandwhich!
I ditto C&C's suggestion of the bus tour - I've gone on it a few times with guests and really like it.
You might also want to go on an Olympic tour...
If you need food suggestions, let us know!
What about a bike tour. I think they are a little more personal than a bus tour.
We went on a Fat Tire one in Berlin. They do them in London too.
