@Moms, help me out

My coworker is about to have baby boy #3. I want to throw a very last minute celebration for her. What sort of gifts would she really need? I love baby clothes but I'm not sure that's what she really needs. (I'm a librarian so I always buy books!)

Onesies? Blankets? Socks? Other stuff? I have no idea. Please help!

Re: @Moms, help me out

  • Not a mom but I've been to showers for mom's having a 2nd or 3rd child.  What about a bring your favorite book for the baby's library, sort of shower?
  • Does she have a registry? That will really help you out.

  • If you know what kind of diapers she's using and she's not doing cloth, diapers are always a good idea - especially maybe a size 3 or up.  That's when they start staying in their diapers for a longer period of time and you need them for longer.

    TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
