What do you use?
With detergents going phosphate free, my glasses are super, super cloudy. I currently use Cascade. It's not working and it's making a film on the inside of the dishwasher. It's stainless steel, not plastic so it's really hard to get that stuff off. I tried the vinegar wash. That didn't work.
Is there something better?

Re: Dishwashing detergent
OK I'm totally going to try the finish tabs.
Yes! All-His I feel weird giving guests our glasses too. We do have a cobalt blue glass set that was a gift and they don't show the cloudiness as much.
HA- since we just got our 'new to us' dishwasher yesterday, I'm going to vote for Finish too. It's what my mom always uses.
Also- Don't EVER use the gel packs, they'll mess up your dishwasher. That's what a repair man told my mom when those packs first came out. They dont' always dissolve, so you're left w/ that little gel wrapper in your dishwasher.
AND Another tip, my parents just got a stainless steal one too. The guy told my mom that you need to run your hot water before running your dishwasher, or else you'll be washing your dishes in cold water. That might help too.

We just had ours serviced under our warranty, and the dude said the same things!
