Thank you.

I used to frequent the nest quite a bit until the boards I frequented moved over to fb. A friend (hi Tupp!) reminded me about this board, so I thought I would come back and introduce myself. My DH, 1 yr old daughter, poodle, and I just moved to Shanghai from FL last week for my DH's job. So far, we're adjusting well and my DD is just about transitioned sleep wise. Woohoo! Hoping to stop by more often. Anyone else in Shanghai.... or China? ((waves hello))
<---- Also, how do I change my location in my siggy at the left? It's been a while....

Re: Hello from Shanghai!
Welcome! You'll probably get more replies on Monday as lots of people are off on the weekend. I just have insomnia. We have a few people who have lived in China, so I sure you'll hear from them.
As for changing location...can't be done so far as I know. Darn Nest.
Welcome!
If you ask the mod. on this board Jenny. She can get in touch with the person who can change the location.

Now Nesting from Chicago, IL My nail blog:
There is a new Nestie who just moved to Shanghai. Hopefully she'll find you.
Also, I love your daughter's name. So cute.
ETA: Oh yeah, I'm an American living in South Africa with my Italian DH.
Morning! And welcome :-)
Glad the adjustment is going well so far! My DH and I are both Americans living in Doha, Qatar.
The only way to currently change your location is to email Bump Kathleen directly - community@thebump.com. :-)

Thanks everyone! Nice to "meet" all of you.
I'll send an e-mail to the nest gods.
Another +1 for your daughters name!
I'm American with a Norwegian SO on our way (literally) to live in Australia.
Very cool! How are you liking it so far?
I used to live in Beijing, but I moved to Norway a few years ago. How long will you be in China?
So far so good! We are still in the hotel (mostly westerners staying in the hotel) which makes a lot of things (getting a taxi, communicating, etc.) easier. Once we move into the apartment I have a feeling the reality of the communication barrier will really set in! But I'm starting to meet with a local 3 times a week to practice what I know.
How's it going for you?
