I live in Roswell. I grew up here and moved away from college. DH and I lived in San DIego for the first year of our marriage and then moved back here.

Nope, I grew up in Alaska, and in looking for some place warm for college I found Tech in Socorro. I spent two of my college summers interning at LANL. DH got a permanent job here just before my second summer (he did grow up here), and here we are.

I live in ABQ near UNM.
I grew up in Aruba and the boonies of SC. Then I spent 8 years of Boston for college. I loved Boston as a city, but was tired of being cold, never seeing the sun and being broke. Moved to NM because my original plan wass to go to Tech for an MS - you can actually see the rocks out here, which is important as a geologist, and it's cheap. Ended up going to UNM instead, realized I hated academia, and discovered I had fallen in love with NM.
I hope never to move, but DH feels differently. I figure we'll stay for 20 more years so we can get our pensions and retirement health. After that, who knows?
I live in the NE Heights of ABQ... or so i've been told.
Born and Raised in NE Ohio for 24 Years!! DH and I moved here 4 months ago b/c I got a job with Clear Channel Radio.
It's really nice here, and I love meeting new people!!!
