DH, myself, my mom, and my kid brother went to Mardi Gras today. We were downtown for several hours and saw four parades. It was still cloudy from yesterday's storms, and we were in and out of buildings (so not in direct sunlight all day). It was VERY windy and chilly outside. DH and I both have burns on our face, but I don't think they're sunburns. Anyone ever had wind burn? And if so, does aloe vera work on that like it does for sunburn and other burns?
ETA: Nevermind, trusty Wikipedia to the rescue, lol. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windburn
Re: Wind burn?
I used to get wind burn pretty bad when the Santa Ana winds hit the valley. Whew, that's one thing I'm glad we don't have here.
We just used lotion.
