Monday morning, anyone else up?
I can't be the only one who has to work today, surely someone else will be here to chat with me. I hope everyone had a good weekend, there were a ton of great things happening in the plans thread from Friday.
Luckily there was a break in the nasty weather on Friday to enjoy my company's chili cookoff, which was pretty fun. Then the H's game got rained out that night so he came home and we got to enjoy Friday night dinner together for the first time in a month. But, he had to reschedule the game the next morning, so he did have to work on Sat.
Friends came over on Sat night and we played some games and chatted, then mostly relaxed yesterday and the weather got better.

I'm working today.
We had a great weekend. On Friday we hit up the casinos after work and won a little bit of money off of roulette! It was sweet.
Saturday we ate at the buffet and went to browse through some of the outlets, I couldn't find anything I liked (I didn't really try hard, I suck at shopping) but I have an idea of what I want so I'll do some online shopping soon.
Sunday I just cleaned and bummed around. I gave H a nice welcome home/birthday greeting and it went pretty well.
I'll be here all day. I was excited about working for a university because they get so many holidays off...but apparently not all of them.
ETA Weekend Recap
I had the first fitting for my wedding dress with my grandmother. It is going to be stunning! Later we went to see my cousin in a play called "Bandersnatch" which is based on the poem "Jabberwocky". Hilarious!
My nephew was baptised on Sunday so my parents had the whole family over for burgers and dogs.
We took the scenic route home!

Friday night I read and drank wine.
Saturday I was incredibly lazy, just laid in bed until noon and then read until DH got home from work. Finally, I dragged myself to the gym and came home to cook dinner, watch tv with him, read, and drink some more wine. Then I got a migraine and went to sleep.
Yesterday, I cleaned the house and went to the gym. DH and I hung out before we went to bed early.
It was a lazy weekend and I enjoyed every second of it!
I'm here and super jealous of those who have off today.
Weekend was good but hectic, drove step daughter all over God's creation mostly. Made it to my bootcamp class saturday morning and visited MIL.
Sunday got to church, cleaned the house a bit and did a 7 mile run, so I was pretty productive.
I also got caught up on all my DVR'd shows, so that's always a good thing.
I'm here but only for a little while. I do have off, but have all my errands planned for today so I can try to take it easy for the rest of the week.
I'm slightly upset in that I can't remember what I did Friday night. It's completely blanking on me, so I'll edit as soon as I ask someone. Must have been fun?
I'm off today, but H texted me at 9:15 to tell me his friend/cw resigned which woke me right up.
So now I'm wake-n-baking and watching Wendy Williams. Yes, be jealous! lol
The weekend was awesome. Went out Friday with H and a bunch of his cw's (including the one who apparently resigned). Got a little too drunk a little too early, but I pulled it together before the end of the night. ha
Saturday we went up to my parents' house for the first time since Christmas and since I've been able to walk. My aunt, brothers and sister were all there too. Dinner was lobster tails, steaks, twice baked potatoes, roasted asparagus and plenty of wine. I didn't have to cook either! I love my family.
Sunday we just hung around the house until we drove back to NY. Then we ordered dinner and caught up on the DVR.
I am here but not for too long. Heading over to the gym to run for a while.
This evening I might be taking in a Ryder class (sim to Spin) and I have to start to get the apartment spic and span for DH who will be here this weekend! (Yippee!)
I'll be in and out. Colleges don't believe in giving their students holidays

Our weekend was nice. We went to Corpus, ate some seafood on the bay for dinner and lunch. We went to the Texas State Aquarium and had fun. We spent the rest of yesterday at home watching movies.
I'm jealous of everyone who has off today. We only get a few holidays off a year. I'm currently trying not to flip out at the guy who cleanrs his throught or coughs every 15 minutes and makes the most disgusting sound imaginable. It's been going on for 3 months and I'm going insane (he was sent home a few weeks ago for it only to discover he had walking pneumonia and whooping cough).
Our alarm system is being put in today, so I'm excited about that.

Not working, but checkin' in.
Had a good weekend... Rock climbed til my arms almost fell off Friday, and then spent all of Saturday being lazy with my mom, until we decided to get silly drunk and make margarita cupcakes. Yesterday I had a hang out day, kicked ass at Trivial Pursuit and found the CUTEST snowboarding pants for SO cheap. I doubt we'll get anymore snow this year, but they match my coat and I'm not growing any, so I took advantage of after season clearance.
Today I have to get get some car stuff done, so I'm just gettin' ready and am about to head out... not sure after that, but I've thoroughly enjoyed my three days off!
