school vacation
happy school vacation week! anyone here get to enjoy it? i forget who we have here that is a teacher, although I know koko's a teacher.
i get to enjoy this week off from my internship. although i'm still working this week, it's a beautiful feeling knowing that i only have to show up at my job this week and not be in two places at once.

You are correct. I was trying to figure out why there were so many darn kids at Costco at 1030 this morning. Then I remembered the holiday.
In Louisiana we used to just get President's Day. Then for Mardi Gras we got M-W. Now they get the whole week for Mardi Gras, which happens to overlap President's Day this year.
I think here in TN they're just off today.
I am at work and will be all week. I'm so busy right now, but I'm currently on hold on a call, so I figured I'd hop on for a minute. Good news for me is that my "summer" assistant will be hired early this year. Just have to block out some time to look for one.
Wow! I kind of assumed most states were like that, where you get one week for February and then another week in April.
