Last night around 8:30 I
went to the gas station and filled up. I had "payed
at the pump" with my credit card like I always do, but for some reason
it said "See Attendant" on the little screen after I was done instead of
printing my receipt. 
So I'm kinda' half jogging (funny
vision, I know) towards the building when it dawns on me I don't even
know what pump I'm at. So I quickly turn my head around to look at the
pump, and while I'm doing that I TRIP over a rise in the concrete and
fall to the ground. My cell phone flies out of my hand and lands about 4
feet away. My shoe even fell off. (LOL) I stand up thinking "holy
Sh*t, that hurt, followed promptly by "oh man, I'm all dirty" and then
"I hope nobody saw that" because thankfully I think I was the only one
at the gas station. Umm. no. The gas station attendant (a young guy
about 25) comes running out the door and was like "are you okay?" which
obviously was very nice but I was so embarrassed. I totally knew that
my hair was all crazy looking and I after I got home I realized that my
light blue wool coat had black grease marks ALL over the side and back,
so clearly I looked like a hot mess walking out. 
Now I have a
bruise on my thigh, couldn't even sleep on that side last night, skinned
up the palm of my hand, and have to take my coat to the dry cleaner.

Thank you. I suppose the title of the post should have been "You should all feel bad for me". lol
My hand is actually just red today and my right arm feels really tired like I worked out all day with it. My thigh is what really hurts though, even though it's surprisingly not as bruised as I thought it would be.
The guy said that particular pump had been acting funny with credit cards lately so he just had to run my card again in the building. I'm keeping that receipt handy in case I get charged twice for some reason.
Owwww! That sounds terrible. I also have a funny/embarassing/painful falling down story, but I'll save it for when DD#2 is napping.
Hope you are feeling better. Ice? Advil?
