2nd birthday present
What did you get (or are you getting) your kid? Did they like it? We have a couple of months to go. My current idea list is: play kitchen, sand/water table, outdoor climber, tricycle or balance bike.

See, we will just barely be entering good weather, so I think an outdoor toy would be perfect.

DD got a sand/water table and that thing has gotten more use than any other toy she's ever owned. She likes her play kitchen, too, but spends way more time at the sand/water table. Other kids can join in since it's pretty big.
It's also nice to be able to sit outside and read while she plays with it (we don't have a fenced-in yard, so the low supervision needed for this toy is key).

We got the Melissa & Doug corner kitchen. She freaking loves it. It's really compact too. We didn't think we'd have space for her to have a kitchen, but this one works in small spaces.
