*C-Bus girls*
Thinking of making a trip down there this summer for a couple days (prob 2 days/1 night), just to have a "mini vacation" while we save for a big trip to Disney in a couple years. We would definitely hit the zoo, but what else is there to do down there that we could do the second day, before the 2 hour drive home?
Where would you recommend staying? How is the area around the zoo?

COSI has a toddler area that the girls would love. There is stuff for all ages from crawling-4ish years old. It's a science museum but just that one area is for kids. You could easily just go there for a few hours and let them run/crawl off some energy
The area around the zoo (Powell) is VERY nice. You shouldn't have any issues finding somewhere nice to stay, though I can't vouch for a certain hotel.
Our crazy, wonderful life
Any hotel in Dublin would be great, and many have zoo packages that include a breakfast and zoo gift bags. The Tuttle crossing area is still close to the zoo but has a mall. Or Polaris area would be good and right off of 71... The holiday inn express there has a pool with a lazy river and other fun swimming.
Definitely try and make it to cosi
You could also take a look at the Experiance Columbus website. There are so many festivals going on, it just depends on when you plan on coming.
I second COSI. It's pretty cool.
