Who's working today? How was your weekend?
Who else is working today? I am, but my client and my boss are both out, so hopefully it will be an easy day.
How was everyone's weekend? Mine was really good. Saturday L and I had lunch at my parents' house and then went to a first birthday party for my friend's baby. Later that night, we went out with his friends to a bar for dinner. Yesterday we went to work out together and then just relaxed the rest of the day until I had to go back home.
Re: Who's working today? How was your weekend?
I'm working, and I'm unhappy about it.
I had a great weekend, though. Dinner with BF's parents on Friday was a lot of fun. Woke up and got breakfast on Saturday morning, then parted ways for a few hours. He worked on some sculpting, I napped and watched Animal Planet. Met up again to attend an art gallery opening, and then got dinner at a brewery. Yesterday, we went with another couple to a rock-n-roll photography exhibit and the museum, then out for BBQ for dinner.
I want my weekend back.
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
I'm working...but I work from home, so I'm taking my sweet time getting into things!
This weekend was really quiet and super nice! Spent a lot of time with my DS this weekend and he was super cooperative so he got ice cream for being good. I had to get one for me too since I did a good job too!
I'm working too. My bosses are on a cruise though so they're on email only. I plan on getting some work, studying, blogging and a pedicure done (pedi is a maybe still).
Had a great weekend. First date on Friday which was good. We're going out for dinner tomorrow night. Rascal Flatts was awesome on Saturday (I blogged about it with pics) and I babysat my nephew with my parents and that was great because he's an energetic squish ball. Tired now though.
Did they love you like we said they would??
I am, even after getting pounded with snow yesterday.
My weekend was ok but was sad yesterday. I had to work 4 hours at a different facility for OT. We had a DOA come in and I had to get him registered because his wife was so upset they couldn't get anything out of her so he came in as a John Doe. She could barely get the information out and halfway through the Chaplain came to get her to talk to the doctor because she didn't know he had passed while in route. I get things like this all the time but it never gets any easier.
Not working
. So I finally get to nest instead!
Weekend was good. Friday night we just relaxed. Saturday I took my dog over to a friend's house so she could play in the backyard with my friend's dog. Then it was BF's cousin's birthday so we went to his aunt's house for dinner. Played some cards then went bowling. I suck at bowling but it was actually fun. Yesterday BF didn't feel that great so we went to his parent's house and laid on the couch and watch 2 movies with his family. Nothing too excited but fun none the less!

I don't know about all of that, but I sensed that they did really like me. They were great, and I was instantly comfortable with them. It was a really positive first meeting.

I'm not working today - and my weekend was awesome! I just got back from Portland on Wed, so it's nice to have a long weekend to recoup. My bestie and I haven't seen each other for a couple weeks, so we spent the whole weekend hanging out - saw a couple movies, OH and I got my first tattoo (I really like how it turned out)!
I'm at work too. Boooooo. Weekend was good...saw my BFF Saturday night then worked out and worked on the house Sunday. Last night I got to have a phone date with G, complete with a couple of glasses of wine, and diving a little into the "r-word" (religion) for a bit. It was nice, but I stayed up WAY pasy my bedtime...3.5 hours on the phone flew by! Most of my clients are off today, so it's making it even harder to stay awake at work.
I'm here, and working. Weekend was really nice--BF and I had a relaxing Friday evening (made these AWESOME chicken souvlaki pitas). Saturday, I got waxed (not as bad as last time!), then ran some errands, and then BF came over. We watched a movie, then got ready for our wine dinner...unfortunately, we ran out of time and didn't get to the art exhibit, so that got pushed to this coming weekend.
But the wine dinner was FANTASTIC! All the food was great! BF was not very keen on going in the first place, because it was $70 each, and he's pretty frugal, but he really enjoyed himself and said that it was totally worth it, and he'd be interested in making it an annual thing, which is huge, coming from him! BF's BFF was there with his new GF/FWB, so I got to meet her, and she seemed really nice, so that was good. We ate dinner separately from them, but then pulled up chairs at their table for dessert, and we had a blast talking to them--we stayed probably an hour after we finished eating, just chatting. All told, we were there for 4 hours, which was good, since it was 7 glasses of wine paired with 6 courses of food!!!
Sunday, we slept in, then went to a friend's birthday party, then hunkered down at my house with wine, cheese, and bread to weather out the snow storm (we only got like 2 inches, but the roads were pretty slick when it was snowing).
I'm working today
My weekend was pretty good. Started on Friday with a belated V-day dinner w/ BF at this great French restaurant. It was one of the top 10 best meals I've ever had - maybe even top 5. I'm salivating just thinking about it.
Unfortunately I could feel myself getting sick last week, and I don't think the wine at dinner Friday night helped because I was a super sicky this weekend. I pretty much just laid low - went to get my taxes done on Saturday, then ran a couple errands and just hung out the rest of the weekend. It felt nice after doing the big move into BF's place the previous weekend.
Ditto!!
My weekend was actually great (aside from coming down with a cold Friday night that is still hanging on). My dad was in town unexpectedly for the weekend and I hadn't seen him since June and that was only for a few hours. We didn't really do anything since I was sick, but it was still really nice spending time with him! I'm so glad I'm off today so hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow for work....
I'm not a huge fan of neck tattoos, but....nice ink!

Ditto. Not working (though that has more to do with the unemployment than anything else...).
K spent the entire weekend here, and actually just left. Overall, a fairly lazy, cuddly weekend.
Friday night we went to the store and picked up some things to fix dinner (yummy alfredo brocolli baked-ness, wine - even for him - and kahlua brownies with berries and gelato, and The Princess Bride to watch. Saturday, we made breakfast, lounged about, then went out for lattes and croissants, came back and lounged some more, then went out to see a movie. Yesterday was gym and errands (separately), dealing with some crazy family drama (my side), picking up Indian food for dinner (to make me feel better about the drama) and then two episodes of the Walking Dead (squee
) This morning we made yummy homemade whole wheat pancakes with Irish butter, berries, and blueberry syrup, and he left about 20 minutes ago to help his soldier prepare to go before his boards tomorrow.
So, yeah...overall a very lazy, food-filled weekend, laced with a bit of ugly family drama made better by said yummy food, lots of cuddles, and zombies.

I'm working
The weekend was a good one! I worked 7 pm to 5 am Friday and Saturday, but for some reason I'm in a great mood again today so it must have been good.
Oh! and when I took my busted Kindle in to exchange it on friday, they upgraded me to a touch and I got like $40 in giftcards with the deal too. Something tiny like using those to get 2 seasons of Seinfeld on DVD was enough to make me happy for a couple days.
