It's my first day back at work after the m/c. It's been... interesting so far, to say the least. LOL Everyone's been super nice, though, so that's good. And, I'm drinking coffee, too, so that's SO nice to be able to do that again. I've also been eating prosciutto, and blue cheese! *happy sigh* It's my way of dealing with it, I guess.

DH and I have the week off!! I think I'm going to go into my classroom today so I can do things I haven't had time to do with the kids there.
We are going to Vancouver on Thursday! I'm really excited, I haven't been there in years!

It's a company holiday for us, but with the big push for overtime I'm at work today. I did sleep in tho, came in at 8:30 instead of 7, got to carpool with H, and actually got to have a cup of coffee with him this morning. Usually he's still asleep when I leave for work.
That said, it's too freaking quiet in here. I need to go find an open coffee place and get another cup stat! Have a great day everyone!

One of our closest couple friends has officially set their wedding date for later this year!
And H's BFF's wife is pregnant! This is the first baby for this group, so everyone's pretty excited.

Happy President's Day! I'm at work, not sure why my office is open since most of the businesses we work with are closed today. It should be a slow day.
This weekend I was unable to go to a friend's b-day party, because she was off by 1 hour with when the cover charge started at the bar she picked. I feel like a sh*tty friend for ditching because of that reason, but paying $16 for H and I to hang around a bar neither of us likes for less than 2 hours did not sound very good to me.

Happy Monday! We went up to a friends cabin in Cle Elum for the weekend. It was so fun! Lots of snow, snowmobiling, and just hanging out. We found a cabin up there that is amazing to buy, but split 3 ways it is still more than I would spend. I like going to too many places to just always go to one.
Last night we had a free pizza coupon for a Chicago style place in Fremont. It was really good but huge! I could only eat one slice.
Holiday for me today so I am going to run and to some chores around the house. Today was DH's first day at his new job. I am excited to hear about it...
H surprised me with an overnight stay at Willows Lodge. He had to go to work this morning though, so I am hanging out in the room by myself until my spa appointment. Feeling a little like Julia Roberts right now.
Bkb did good with her overnight stay at grandma's too. I feel much better now knowing that.
Trying to enjoy my last day free from work. I can't wait to soak up as much of bkb this afternoon as I can.

Karebear: so jealous! What an awesome day! I've always wanted to go there.
I technically have the day off, but planned to go in to work all day and get caught up on things. But, oops, slept in much later than I planned (just eating breakfast now). So, I better get moving!
Had dinner at my dad's last night. He was released from the hospital Thur (just kept one day), had more testing on Fri, but no results yet. Sounds like he's taking meds and serious about diet changes, but still may be avoiding how serious it was, doesn't really want to talk about it, hasn't f/u w/ dr yet and won't let my step-mom go to the dr w/ him. Hmmm....
