Yoga or Pilates???

So I'm not really active (occasional walking) and could stand to loose 5 lbs...but I would like tone my body. I would also like to become more flexible. Which one would you recommend for me to do? Is there video tapes that you could recommend?

Thanks..

Re: Yoga or Pilates???

  • Scroll down a bit, there was a post earlier about this which may help
  • Just saw that thanks...
  • Honestly, I enjoy both. I have videos for each of them that I love.

    This!

It also depends on what you want out of it.

  • I agree, I enjoy both practices. If you're looking for flexibility, I would go with yoga. Pilates does more to lengthen your muscles and build core strength (though they both are strength builders).
