TV Show Tickets?

Hello Ladies! I'm not sure where I should have posted this, so here it is. DH & I will be down in LA/Anaheim at the end of March and I was wondering where to go to get free tickets to tv show tapings? I wasn't sure if there was a better place to go or not.

TIA!

Re: TV Show Tickets?

  • I probably look on their website as they may say how to get tickets.

  • The Venice Beach boardwalk usually has people passing out passes to shows. Otherwise, you can probably go to the websites for any shows you are interested in seeing.

  • www.1iota.com  They do ticketing for Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and The Voice.  Plus they do some one off events (ESPYs, Academy Awards, etc)

This was going to be my suggestion. Also if you're interested in a specific show, check out their website.

  • I'm just going to throw out there - going to Kimmel or another "live" show is going to be your best bet. They tape almost every (week)day, and since they're "live" (or live to tape), they are faster than other tapings. Also, a lot of sitcoms might be on hiatus, depending on their schedule. But trust me - I've been to sitcom tapings that have lasted 4-6 hours. You get really sick of clapping and laughing for the same scenes over and over again by that point. But the late night shows are pretty cool. You get to see a few celebrities and the tapings are relatively quick (2-3 hours of your time). Plus, Kimmel is right across from where they have the Oscars (the Kodak theater) and there are a lot of restaurants and things in the area, so you can make a "trip" out of it (LA is really big, and if you are staying in Anaheim, a trip to Hollywood might take you 2 hours).
