Did someone go here for their honeymoon? I remember hearing it mentioned but cannot remember for sure.
Has anyone ever gone there? DH and I are strongly considering renting a cabin there for a week this summer and would love to hear recommendations and things to avoid.
Please share if you have any details! Thanks!
Re: Gatlinburg, TN
I didn't on my HM, but I went a few years ago with my family. We rented a cabin and just relaxed. It was nice because the cabin was in the mountains, so we could just relax if we wanted, or could go into town.
If I remember right, town had a lot of shops, restaurants, etc. It was fun - DH and I tossed around the idea of going there this summer too!
My family spent the night there on our way to Myrtle Beach. It was a lot of fun!
My husband and I went to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for our Honeymoon!
It was amazing and I'd recommend it to anyone! There is SO much to do there...for all sorts of interest! You can white water raft, hike in the Smoky Mountains, Dollywood is nearby, and there is a lot of awesome shopping!
Ripley's Aquarium was one of my favorite stops! The cabin was gorgeous and so peaceful.
I hope you enjoy your time there if you end up going!
