I woke up this morning thinking I had to place my milk order, which I do on Wednesdays. What a disappointment!
Since we didn't really go over it- how was everyone's weekend? What are your plans for the rest of the week?
Re: How is it only Tuesday?
I hear ya, this week feels like it's going to drag.
Had a pretty low-key weekend. Friday night we brought pizza over to our friends' place (they have a baby) and just hung out with them. Saturday we went to a birthday dinner for a friend. Sunday we had my sister over for brunch, ran some errands, and then used up a Cheesecake Factory gc I've had forever to buy a cheesecake. We ended up bringing it over to my sister's house and we watched Real Steel together (the movie was cute).
LOL, I keep thinking it's Monday
Weekend was OK. Saturday DH went to an event...somewhere, so we were on our own all day. Sunday we sorta celebrated DH's birthday (he's not big into birthdays, which is a foreign concept to me). Yesterday we went shopping for furniture and appliances. Had our heart set on a fridge only to find that it won't fit in our kitchen
Back to Square One. The furniture is at Jordan's outlet, so DH had better pull the trigger soon (he takes FOREVER to decide on stuff like this)
But it was really nice to have DH home yesterday. DD was thrilled.

Our weekend was great! H and I went to the Stoneforge in Easton on Friday night and it was delicious (as it always is). Otherwise we just hung around.
This week we have lots of plans. Storytime this morning (maybe with DrL and BabyL?), a play date this afternoon after nap time with DS's bff, and it goes on like that every day this week. I also have a girl's night out on Friday! Woohoo!
Today feels like Monday to me! I love short weeks.
My weekend was good. I took Friday off to go to traffic court with my H who was fighting a speeding ticket. He won! So awesome. I spent the rest of the day removing hardware from the trim in my kitchen so I could paint it. Saturday we painted, and Sunday we put everything back together. Very exciting! I am hoping to have the walls painted in the next few weeks, then hang some pictures and be done with it.
Yesterday I took my dog to visit my parents and their dog. They played for three straight hours and my dog would hardly move last night or this morning. She is exhausted!
Doesn't it feel great to beat "the man?"
LOL!
His bigger concern is where to put the old sofa until we can get rid of it. It's old, covered in drops of milk from...ahem...someone's sippy cup, and too big for the space. And he has too much crap in the basement. Good times.

Exactly! Congrats to your husband!
We were really busy this weekend. Saturday, we went to a basketball game at NU, which sucked. The team is pretty awful- they can't pass, and they can barely dribble. Last time we went, the place was packed. This time, though, it was practically empty and it felt like a high school game. So we left at halftime, and made the brilliant decision to walk over to the Charles/MGH stop. My fat arse was sore like whoa after that, heh.
Sunday, we went car shopping. We ended up getting a 2010 Civic, and we pick it up tomorrow. Which means I get out of work early, woohoo!
Yesterday, we did a whole lot of nothing. And it was awesome.
That totally sucks waking up thinking it is a day ahead of what it is!
I had yesterday off from work so today sorta feels like my Monday. It was nice having the extra day. DH was away this weekend so I say some friends and got a lot done around the house.
Our baby bedding came in yesterday and the crib & mattress are coming in later this week so this weekend we will set all that up.
Yay! Congrats!
I've been cleaning out my closets like crazy this weekend. I'm trying to put away clothes that I know aren't going to fit me for a while.
Sunday we went to a surprise 30th birthday party for H's cousin.
It was great to be able to spend the whole day with H yesterday. We don't often have days off together. We went out and bought a new mattress and did some errands. Then went home and finished cleaning out my clothes.
Not a whole lot going on this week. Our big ultrasound it this afternoon and we're doing a gender reveal with H's family on Saturday. I'm also excited that its a short week!
Thanks! It feels awesome mostly because it means it won't hit him on car insurance. We still had to pay court fees so the monetary fine on the ticket is a wash.
Yeah, I probably paid around $100 to fight my accident in both traffic court and with the insurance board, but it was totally worth it to avoid seven years (or whatever it was) of higher insurance premiums!
What did you end up getting?
We got some of the Batik Butterfly collection from Target and the Davinci Kalani crib.
i think that is our crib (but in espresso.)
I like the bedding. Very sweet and feminine.
