What does your training schedule look like for the week? Mon - 3M, Tues - rest, Wed- 5M, Thurs-3M, Fri-Rest, Sat- Rest or CT if I have time, Sun - 11M

Any injuries or problems? Hills suck! I faced an INSANE hill this week on my 10M run. I wasn't running up the hill. I was climbing. That sapped my energy and made the rest of the run suck. I ordered a water/fuel belt so I can have start fueling on my runs.

Highlights from last week? My first 20+ mile week!

Let's talk sleep. On average, how much sleep do you get per night? 8-9 hours What's your ideal amount of sleep? 9 hours What's your bedtime? 9:30-10PM Wakeup time? 5:55AM Do you wake up during the night or sleep through it? Sometimes I wake to go to the bathroom

NH&FR: How many times have you moved? Since finishing college and settling in the DC area, 3 times! The last time was the hardest since DS was around 1 and very attached to his mommy. The next time we're hiring movers. We will be buying a house in a year and a half. I'm hoping that will be our last move in a long, long time!

I sleep about 7 hrs/night.  that's about right for me.  sometimes I'll need a bit more after a hard workout.  I go to sleep around 1030 and my alarm goes off at 530.  for the most part I sleep through the night.  sometimes I'll have to get up to pee, but usually when I wake up in the middle of the night to pee it's my first sign that I'm getting a UTI.

NH&FR: How many times have you moved? 12

  • What event are you training for/date? nothing. I'm still in my off season. I am going to to a mountain bike race for fun March 4th since a friend is the promoter and it's to support a local high school mtb team. I will use it as a hard training day.

Let's talk sleep. On average, how much sleep do you get per night? What's your ideal amount of sleep? What's your bedtime? Wakeup time? Do you wake up during the night or sleep through it? it varies night to night. Last night i stayed up till 12:30 watching netflix. Sometimes i'm in bed by 10. I don't have a real schedule - that's probably bad. In the last 8 months or so I wake up a lot more than I used to. DH says, "welcome to your late 20's."

NH&FR: How many times have you moved? Never out of state - born & raised in FL. I have no idea how many different houses i've lived in. I've moved 6x since Dec 2004 (which is when I moved out of my Mom's house).. Maybe 8 or 9 times growing up.

Any injuries or problems? Moving. So tired. Some random pains but nothing serious. I think it's just from bruising my thigh and banging stuff against my shin while moving.

NH&FR: How many times have you moved? Around 10

  • What event are you training for/date? 10K on May 6th, sprint tri on 7/14

What does your training schedule look like for the week? two 3.5-mile runs, one 4- or 4.5-mile run, one light lifting workout, and then, if all goes well, NROLFW Stage 7 workout 1; some bike riding over the weekend, but I'm still getting comfortable with my new bike (hadn't ridden in 15 years)

Any injuries or problems? I twisted my knee 3.5 weeks ago, and I'm still easing my way back into my normal workout routine.

Highlights from last week? I learned how to get on and off of a road bike!  :)  Also, very little knee problems with running and even (body weight) step-ups.  And, finally, finding out that the sprint tri I've had my eye on this summer is going to be on a weekend I'll be in town.

Let's talk sleep. On average, how much sleep do you get per night? What's your ideal amount of sleep? What's your bedtime? Wakeup time? Do you wake up during the night or sleep through it? I get about 7 hours; ideal amount is about 7.5 hours; I usually sleep straight through from about 11:30pm to 6:30am

NH&FR: How many times have you moved? 3 times as a kid, 5 times as an adult (not including undergrad).  That's city changes, not apartment/house changes, which would about double that number.
  • What event are you training for/date?  Not really training, per se, but I am running a 10-miler on 3/25! I have maxed out at 8 miles since baby #3 and I feel that having a race on the calendar will push me to run a bit more.  I've been a little lazy this winter (50-60 mile months, on avg.)

What does your training schedule look like for the week? I'm hoping to run 20 miles, not sure what it will look like.

Any injuries or problems? No injuries, but time management is a huge factor.

Highlights from last week? I ran 6 miles totally hungover from date night...and felt pretty good after.

Let's talk sleep. On average, how much sleep do you get per night? What's your ideal amount of sleep? What's your bedtime? Wakeup time? Do you wake up during the night or sleep through it?  I usually go to bed around 930 and wake up at 630 or 7 - but there are a lot of variables.  Baby wakes to eat 0 or 1 times, but I always wake up to check at least once or twice.  I think I am an 8-9 hour person - I can survive w/ less but I like to be well rested more than I like to stay up late and watch TV.

NH&FR: How many times have you moved? I lived in the same house w/ my family until I graduated from college.  Since I have been on my own, I have moved 4 times.  I think I'm done moving.

8 hours is average during the week, sometimes a little less.  Much less than that and I am crabby and not functional.  On weekends I sleep about 10 hours a night.  I love sleep :)

NH&FR: How many times have you moved?
    5 times, coast to coast
  • What event are you training for/date? Mercer Island half marathon

Any injuries or problems? I'm tight for sure. I probably need some piriformis treatment.  Also, my kneecap is weird...it feels bruised, but it's not? I'm seeing the pt tomorrow.

Highlights from last week? new distance record with my 14 mile run.  It was kinda crappy, but it's the furthest I've ever gone.

Let's talk sleep. On average, how much sleep do you get per night? What's your ideal amount of sleep? What's your bedtime? Wakeup time? Do you wake up during the night or sleep through it? I average 7-8 hours.  Ideally, I need at least 9 to feel fully rested, but since I wake up early no matter what, it means going to bed earlier, which is hard to do. I sleep all night, thankfully, unless the little one wakes me up.

NH&FR: How many times have you moved? my whole life? at least 20...I'm a little fuzzy once I get to 20.

Let's talk sleep. On average, how much sleep do you get per night? What's your ideal amount of sleep? What's your bedtime? Wakeup time? Do you wake up during the night or sleep through it? Happy Tuesday! And Happy Mardi Gras!

What event are you training for/date? Metric Marathon, April 15. Half, May 6.

What does your training schedule look like for the week? 30ish miles, long run of 10, p90x2- starting phase 2 this week

Any injuries or problems? Not really

Highlights from last week? Fastest and longest run post baby (9), hit 30 miles for the week

Let's talk sleep. On average, how much sleep do you get per night? What's your ideal amount of sleep? What's your bedtime? Wakeup time? Do you wake up during the night or sleep through it? I'd say I average 6-7 hours of very broken up sleep. My baby wakes 2-4 times, and is a pretty good sleeper for her age. My son wakes up from nightmares and sleep walking randomly, so I get up for him too. Not to mention my husband gets home from work in between 1-3am and hasn't mastered taking off his uniform and gear quietly. I get up around 6:30 most days.

NH&FR: How many times have you moved?
My parents live in the same house we grew up in. I won't count college dorms and apts. since college I've moved 5 times. We've been in our house for 6.5 years so it's been a while.

Any injuries or problems?  My shin hurts again.  :(  Icing seems to help, but still not sure what's causing it.  Also terrible headaches, first a migraine last week and now a sinus headache.

Highlights from last week?  Great social run with LRS last week, ran with a lifetime marathoner and then got a massage.

Let's talk sleep. On average, how much sleep do you get per night? 7-8hrs

What's your ideal amount of sleep? About that.

What's your bedtime? Between 9 and 10 most weeknights. Well, I should specify that's when I get in bed, but I stay up reading until I fall asleep.

Wakeup time? 5:00 or 6:15 depending on if I'm trying to get in a run before work.

Do you wake up during the night or sleep through it?  I usually wake up when DH gets in bed, sometimes in the middle of the night if the cat is crawling on me.  I can fall back asleep pretty fast.

NH&FR: How many times have you moved? 5 times not counting in and out of the dorms in college and when I was too little to remember it.  I hate moving!

    Su:  Rest

    Any injuries or problems?
    Nope, none!  (knocks on wood)

    Highlights from last week?
I did one of my runs at a 10.5 minute pace!  This probably doesn't sound like much to some of you, but for someone who averages between an 11 - 12 minute mile, it was exciting!

Let's talk sleep. On average, how much sleep do you get per night? What's your ideal amount of sleep? What's your bedtime? Wakeup time? Do you wake up during the night or sleep through it?
As a first year law student, I don't sleep nearly enough.  Probably about 6 hours a night.  My ideal amount is 7 - 8 hours.  I typically go to bed around midnight and get up around 6.  How I sleep depends on the day...whether I slept well the night before, what I ate, whether I exercised, etc.

NH&FR: How many times have you moved?
As a child I moved twice.  As an adult and excluding moving in college, I have moved 4 times.
