What holidays do you get at work? Today is technically a holiday for us but we have to work it b/c it's our busy time of year. We get comp time for working it.
Anything major coming up in the next few months that you're looking forward to (vacations, parties, milestones, etc)? Hopefully moving in to our house soon.
Are you a daily morning coffee drinker? Yes If so, how many cups do you have? 1-2
What is your favorite beach town for vacations? Don't really have one. Beaches aren't my first vacation choice.
Of your close friends, are the majority married, or no? Only two of my friends are married.
Of your close friends, do the majority have kids, or no? No, none of my friends have kids. All of DH's friends are married with kids though.
What holidays do you get at work? Just the major ones: NYD, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas (and we get 1/2 days on Christmas Eve and NYE)
Anything major coming up in the next few months that you're looking forward to (vacations, parties, milestones, etc)? I'm super excited for DS's first birthday eventhough it's 3+ months away. Also excited for DH's graduation from grad school in May.

Are you at work today? Yup
What holidays do you get at work? All depends on what day they fall on, but the ones that I have a chance of having off on are New years day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. If they fall on a weekend I dont get a day off during the week for it.
Anything major coming up in the next few months that you're looking forward to (vacations, parties, milestones, etc)? new baby niece coming in the next few weeks!
Are you a daily morning coffee drinker? Nooope. I dont like coffee.

What is your favorite beach town for vacations? Myrtle Beach, SC

What holidays do you get at work? Just the major six holidays. My next day off is not until Memorial day and I won't even get paid for that (I'll be on maternity leave).
Anything major coming up in the next few months that you're looking forward to (vacations, parties, milestones, etc)? Two more weeks until the big pregnancy milestone and then April should be interesting. That's when baby#2 arrives.

What is your favorite beach town for vacations? We aren't really beach people. The last time we were at the beach was in 2010. Sad.

Of your close friends, do the majority have kids, or no? yes most have kids.
Are you at work today? No, but not because it's a holiday. My scheduled days off right now are Sunday and Monday.
What holidays do you get at work? We are open on all holidays so we have a pretty good policy in place. All employees get paid 8 hours on Christmas and Thanksgiving. If you are scheduled to work, you are paid overtime on top of that. For the rest of the year, we get one "free" paid day off each month. Essentially we get a three day weekend 10 months out of the year to make up for working on holidays.
Anything major coming up in the next few months that you're looking forward to (vacations, parties, milestones, etc)? We have a couple day trips planned in March (Virginia, Boston, and Charleston). I told DH last night that for my 30th birthday in July, I want to go to a Braves game in Atlanta.
Are you a daily morning coffee drinker? If so, how many cups do you have? I don't drink much coffee. Maybe two cups a week, when I need a little "pick me up ".
What is your favorite beach town for vacations? I'm partial to OC because DH have history there but I love both Myrtle Beach and the Outer Banks.
Of your close friends, are the majority married, or no? Yes, almost all are married.
Of your close friends, do the majority have kids, or no? It's about 50/50. For those that don't, they probably will by next year.
What holidays do you get at work? Thanksgiving and Black Fri, Christmas, New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day

Are you a daily morning coffee drinker? If so, how many cups do you have? Yes. I try to limit myself to one upon waking up but some days I have another half cup.
What is your favorite beach town for vacations? I love Naples, FL (actually whole gulf coast of FL) and Wilmington SC

What holidays do you get at work? We get most of the Federal holidays except two of them.
Anything major coming up in the next few months that you're looking forward to (vacations, parties, milestones, etc)? One of my favorite dog shows is next month and I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of friends there.

Are you at work today? I had to work a half day from home today. My day is technically over, but I still have a bunch of stuff to work on...it never ends!
What holidays do you get at work? Our Baltimore office is closed whenever the New York Stock Exchange is closed (see below). However, I have to work half days from home for US-only holidays in case the London traders need anything. It's like a normal day for me...actually busier since I'm covering more stuff than usual. I get to add on the half day to my PTO though and I try to alternate with another co-worker.

Are you a daily morning coffee drinker? If so, how many cups do you have? Nope, I've never liked coffee. Love the smell, hate the taste. I made the mistake of trying to brew my own as a little kid in my fake coffeemaker and I think that ruined it for me.
What is your favorite beach town for vacations? I guess Ocean City, MD by default since it's close and my parents have a condo. I love when the whole family goes (despite the cramped quarters).

Are you at work today? No I am still out of work because of my back.
