Bored? Anyone want to help me shop for curtains?

I recently got this duvet set from Target.  Our furniture is similar to this.  And the walls are a very light "sky" blue.  I spent all weekend looking for something for the window- one long window along the front wall- and can't find anything that interests me.  I just have no idea what I want.  I think I'm okay with pattern mixing, I just don't know how to do it right, and I definitely want something neutral so that when I change the bedding I can keep the curtains the same.  I'd like to keep the total cost under $100.

  • I'm a fan of white curtains for almost any room.  They are very neutral and I think keep the room light and airy.  And you can change wall color, bedding, furniture and they will always look good.  The exception is white walls where you want bold curtains to be more of the focus.  Ikea has a great selection, reasonable prices, and you are able to hem them to the length you want with webbing tape.  JCPenny also has decent prices and a range of lengths if you don't want to hem yourself.
