Summer plans yet?
I know it is early, but has anyone booked any trips for the summer yet?
I already booked a vacation house for a week in North Conway, and I can't wait! It will be the first time that DoggieCrushing has been (same for babyCrushing, but she won't be as excited) to all that great hiking!

Ohh fun! I went there when I was pregnant for a wedding and thought it was a nice little town. DH's aunt lives there.
We are going to Bermuda for my sister's wedding. We talked about maybe doing a trip to see ILs as well but with the house and everything, it may not be financially feasible. We will have to wait and see. I'd kind of like to, just because DS is going to be at the age where taking his pix by the duck statues would be so freaking cute.
Yes, THAT is my motivation for visiting. Sue me!
August DH is going to western PA with his mom, and DD and I are headed to CA to see my family. Should be fun!

I am bugging DH about booking a trip for early summer/late Spring. I have finally accepted that I'm going to leave DS home. So we need to coordinate with the ILs for babysitting, etc. We'll see.
It was actually a condition of TTC. I told him I won't do it until we go on vacation. In fact, I told him that I would start TTC on day 1 of the vacation but no sooner lol
CDC, North Conway sounds like a great getaway! I have a friend whose family lives up there, so I've been a couple of times. We also got Jack from a woman who lives the next town over from NC.
I think we're going to try for a few days at the Cape in early May, but April through July are my busiest months at work, so we'll see if it's feasible. We're not big on summer vacations anyway - we'd much rather go away in the fall/spring. We do get to stay at least overnight one night in August for my brother's wedding in exotic Sturbridge, heh.
Yes, still in the works, but definitely not planned yet. There's so much to think about, it's a little overwhelming.
I'll be home with the baby for a little while this summer. H's family might be renting a beach house in Maine for a week in August, and we really want to go, but can't commit because we don't know what life with a newborn will be like.
No trips. We'll be in Maine most weekends... my cousins from CA should be coming out for a visit as well.
My BFF is due at the end of July so I might sneak a day off from work when her new LO is born to see them.
SO and I booked a Canadian cruise for the last week of Aug. We are flying up to Montreal, spending a few days there and then taking a cruise back to Boston.
This is the first vacation we have been on in a long time. I'm also going to Cincinnati for a conference... not as excited about that. ; )
I can host as long as everyone doesn't mind a 100lb GSD that loves to give bath-kisses to babies!
I love doggies, as does DS. DS will give doggycush open mouth kisses.
He will be in heaven!
