Lawrence Hospital and White Plains Hospital
We are not yet pregnant, and I do not have a OB/GYN. I have a gyn that I go to for my check ups, but I am not thrilled with them.
Since the DH and I are discussing having a baby, we are starting to research doctors and hospitals.
Can anyone provide input on Lawrence Hospital and/or WP?
TIA
Re: Lawrence Hospital and White Plains Hospital
If you're curious about c-section rates, this website gives them: http://www.citizen.org/hrg1906tables (scroll down to see Westchester hospitals). Of course, I chose a hospital with a very low c-section rate (Good Sam in Rockland) and ended up with a c-section anyway...
When I lived in Westchester I went to Diane Ainsworth, who is affiliated with White Plains Hospital. I was very happy with her, although I saw her as a gyn not an ob. My husband was hospitalized at Lawrence Hospital for an autoimmune disorder and we were happy with the care he received there.
Thank you ladies!
my read shelf:
We have lots of family history at Lawrence. I like it there a lot (plus Starbucks is walking distance). My cousin was born there 16 years ago.
