You know what drives me bonkers?
When people say things like, "she has mild Aspergers" or "he has a touch of downs syndrome."
Those people? Are uneducated clearly and I think are partially what leads to social stigmas against people with disabilities.
Whats driving you nuts today?

Re: You know what drives me bonkers?
two things today that are similar and were both done by the same person:
people who will ask you a question about something just so they can talk about the subject/themselves
-and-
when you're having a conversation with someone and a person walks up and just starts interjecting their own thoughts/stories into your conversation...rude
I. Hate. Vaguebooking. Either talk about something... or don't! Don't wait for people to ask you what's going on just so you can talk about it.

I read that last night and thought, okay, you have it or you don't- there's no MILD- Aspbeger's is a mild form of autism on the scale, and you can do things to minimize its affects, but there isn't MILD Aspys.
Stand up for something you believe in.
Husbands who send you a reminder from your tax accountant to get in your taxes. Um, I'm pretty sure you are just as capable of doing them as I am!!! Go home after work, and instead of being lazy like you have been these last few days, start filling out the forms!!!
People who think their time is more precious or important than others. Example: People who park in front of the grocery store, blocking traffic, so their friend/companion/whatever, can just "run in" to grab something. What makes you so important that you can do this? We are all just running in, yet we park like you are supposed to. And don't get pissed at others who are honking and beeping at your ridiculousness because you are causing a traffic jam....go sit in a parking spot until your sidekick returns.
This REALLY irritates me when people are late for a meeting and they're all "Sorry, I'm busy today." But it happens EVERY DAY. For a meeting that THEY set and its like hi. we're all busy. thanks.
Stand up for something you believe in.
When people use their kids as an excuse to not hold up their end of a bargain. Just because you're busy being a mom doesn't mean I'm not busy too, and it's not an excuse to flake out on things. Similarly, when people try to imply that, because they have kids and I don't, that their time with their family is more important than my time with my husband.
When people complain and complain about their circumstances and do absolutely nothing to try to change them.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
