Do any of you have a toddler gym type of place in your town? I'm helping a friend who wants to open one here and she is looking for examples to go off of. We've been trying to just google but a bunch of gymnastics places come up and just stuff that isn't relevant. She's thinking of the type of place where you take your toddler and there are like soft mats and toys and crawly things in a large space and they just do open play or maybe offer some classes, similar to the Gymboree one (if you are familiar) but she's looking for more examples.
Thanks so much!

Re: BWLO
we do, its called Kidz Plex--they have gymnastics but they have a fun factory for open play--it is more like a giant play place but they have a toddler area with mats and wedges and slides and a ball pit--we went this weekend and had a lot of fun.

This place is near us, but I've never been. They also have classes and parties.

We have a Romp n Roll in town.

There is a chain in my area that focuses on a good time for kids and mom-- they have coffee and cafe type items to eat. I am not sure if the pictures show it, but there are soft toddler areas for kids who aren't really rough and tumble yet. Here's their site:

Yes, we go to My Gym - which is a chain. For me as a member the key things are classes and free/open gyms on the weekends (I am a working mama) and I think probably birthday parties b/c I can see us doing one there at some point.

We also have JW Tumbles, but we like My Gym better!

Her site is awful (totally a vistaprint website) but Madeline has gone here a few times.

We have The Little Gym

I took Abby there last summer.. they sing, play with bubbles, and then there are a lot of mats and some gymnastics equipment. Abby loved the gymnastics part, not the whole sitting and singing, so we now send her to a regular gymnastics place.

We have exactly what you're talking about, it's called The Sandbox:

We also have another similar place, but it's got those huge inflatable things:

We also have The Little Gym, but I don't ever hear anyone talking about that one. It's a chain.
