DH is being transfered :-/
So right now we are both very fortunate that we have a 5 mile commute to work and that we work about one mile apart. It's been very convenient when I was having car problems or we needed to rush home and get something.
H was passed over for the promotion to DM, but now they have come to him and asked him to open a new store for them. We are trying to see this as a good opportunity but we are both a little apprehensive. The new store is about 20 miles from out house :-( Plus he is going from the busiest and highest earning store in the franchise to a new unproven locations.
Next Thursday is his last day at his current store. We could use some vibes that this new opportunity goes well for him.

Its miles from 5 miles to 20 miles. I think right now his commute is like 14 mins, and it will be like 30mins. Which I know is nothing compared to a lot of peoples commutes. I'm more worried about having to start a new store from scratch when he was use too a store that did so well on its own.
I'm pretty worried about this new location TBH. I'm afraid its going to be a bust. Its maybe 2 or 3 miles down the road from the 2nd busiest store in the franchise. Its a whole new shopping center that just recently opened. Its in front of a Wegman's, next to a Joe's Crab Shack and there is rumors of a Cheesecake Factory to come. Its a pretty busy area though so who knows. I mean the owner of this franchise has the most successful franchise in the country so he must know what he is doing.
