I'm changing my answer since everyone picked more than one brand:
MAC- foundation, powders, brushes, color items (blush, eye shadow, lip gloss, etc...)
Mascara- L'oreal
Eye liner- Lancome
Eye Brow pencil- Chanel
Laura Mercier for face
MAC for color things (blush, eyeshadow, lip gloss)
L'Oreal for mascara

Blush: no preference although I use both Benefit & Bare Escentuals, there's a MAC color my cousin has that I Looooove and want
Mascara - still on the hunt!! Everything is either too clumpy, too flakey, yucky brush, or not waterproof
have you tried any of the L'Oreal ones? I really like the Telescopic one and am currently using the Falsies one (I go back and forth about how much I like it, the brush was hard to get used to after the Telescopic one, but it does a good job).

I'm a L'oreal fan too, but I like the double extend the best.
oh is this the one with the two-step stuff? I guess technically I do this :P I always wear the Lancome CILS XL Booster with my mascara, maybe I should try the L'Oreal stuff and save some $$...

Yep, I've been using it for years and I love it. I usually stock up when it's on sale and I can get them for around $8/tube.

primer,foundation/bronzer/blush - bare minerals
brushes - bare minerals (though I do prefer stila and m.a.c brushes but have just collected a bunch of bare minerals
eyeshadows/primer/liner - urban decay
mascara - I first use a mary kay brand to volumize and then use bare minerals, the one with the tiny brush to lengthen and get rid of any gross clumps, and for my 4 bottom lashes when I decide to try to put mascara on them
i love mac when people do it for me.
foundation: i love this maybelline stuff 24hr something or other
powder: i use a mac one and another one
covergirl: powder, eyeliner(just a pencil), lash blast mascara, blush
i have mac brushes and i prefer a mac primer which i don't have any of and i feel like it's not top on the priority list righ tnow..
eyeshadow i use a mix of bare minerals, covergirl, mac and some other one i can't remember the name of. did miss anything?
oh lips: i use softlips.. rarely anything else. i wish i could find a good nude-ish lipstick..
I am really only picky about my foundation. I used MAC studio fix forever but it always looked cakey so I tried Estee Lauder Double wear and I am in love.
I use maybelline and covergirl for all my other makeup products.

I am addicted to makeup. I love love love it.
Overall, my favorite brand is MAC. I love their lip products, and their eyeshadow is far superior to most others I've tried.
Currently my favorites are:
Foundation: Revlon colorstay or Makeup Forever Matte Velvet
Eyeshadow: Mostly MAC, but I love my UD Naked Palette, as well as some Lorac, Kat Von D, and Tarte shadows I have
Eyeliner: MAC fluidline, Too Faced Perfect Pencil (I think), Ulta something or other, and L'Oreal Lineur Intense liquid eyeliner are my go-tos.
Mascara: I got a sample of Bare Minerals Buxom Mascara, and I've really been liking that lately. I'll definitely be buying a full sized one. But I don't have a true favorite. I'm a fickle Mascara person... always looking to try something new.
Lips: Mostly all MAC. I'm a gloss girl. I do have a L'Oreal one that I've been liking too though.
I dont't have any favs, I just get cheap stuff normally. But, I'd like to try bare minerals. VS makes a really good bronzer.
MAC for "glam" stuff (mostly eye shadows, blush, mascara, and lip gloss).
Bare Minerals for foundation/powder.
