ugh...
so we went to make that appt for h's tattoo. the guy seemed totally cool.. we gave him $160 down and went back on sat for the f/u appt.. he didn't have the sketch that he promised, part of the reason for the money down, with him.. ugh. so he promised he's send it to h that night or the next morning. he did but they sucked. that wasn't what h wasn't looking for. h responded back and never heard anything. second red flag imo.
anyway, h is at his appt right now. they sent pics to me and i don't like either effing one. h told me he is going to DRAW the tattoo on him. i feel like that isn't what h was looking for at all. i'm freaking out and i don't know what to do.
I DON"T KNOW WHAT TO DO. i'm gonna leave soon and bring money.. but i'm freaking out.

I'm assuming that you can't get the deposit back? Either way, deposit or not, unless your H is 100% happy with the drawing I wouldn't let the tattoo artist get near me with the gun thing.
Can you ask for a new artist?
now the thing is.. do i go down there now and try to see him draw the tattoo on with pen or whatever.. or do i go in a little bit when h actually gets tattooed?? i don't have a lot of time, only the normal time for lunch, 30mins.. which literally means, i'll walk in, get a glance, and go back to work. UGH, i'm scared. and i feel like crying.

as i was driving he called and said not to leave, he is going to have the guy draw up what he wants exactly and have time to tweak it and everything.. THANK GOODNESS! i'm loving my h now and i feel like i can breathe easy. i should trust him more, lol.

FWIW, the sketch looks nothing like what it looks like on skin. i was nervous when i got mine, but i trusted the artist (you did research on which artist you wanted, right?). she had a line drawing, and told me it'd be shaded in correctly when i got it. i also made a slight modification from the sketch, and she fixed that on-skin w/o fixing the sketch.
but regardless--if he's uncomfortable with the artist/sketch, then don't get it done.
