As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Thoughts and Prayers Request - this is sad.
I teach in a VERY small rural district. (I teach all of the high school kids except the freshman. Most the classes have 40-50 students. The graduating class only has 35.)
I was standing in the school office this morning before school talking to the secretary. She answered the phone and started asking things like "Is everyone safe?"
A family in the district had their house catch on fire last night around 2 am. EVERYTHING is gone. The news showed the house...it's destroyed. Burned to the ground. All three of their kids are in my classes. They lost everything. It's going to be a rough week. Luckily, everyone got out, but there is a long road ahead.
Any thoughts and prayers for the family would be appreciated!

We seem to have at least one family a year that loses their home due to fire. It is so sad. Lots of prayers to the family!
In the past we've done teacher jeans day that raise money for the families. Every little thing helps!
So sad, but luckily everyone is safe. Sending tons of thoughts and prayers to that family. There is a little girl in my class who is going through the same thing. Their house burned down 2 weeks ago now, but everyone has really come together to support the family in every way we can. Hopefully the same will happen for this family!
