Pick One (Lent edition)

I need help deciding which to eat tonight. I'm going out to dinner and this will be my last meal before Lent starts. I'm giving up Diet Coke and eating out. Which would you choose for your "last supper"?[Poll]

  • Blooming onion. How is this a question?

  • I don't like the Blooming Onion...

*ducks before something is thrown at me*

I REALLY want their cheese fries though. Yum!

  • Ewww, for a last meal, go to a good restaurant, not some frozen mass produced chain restaurant. Find something local with fresh ingredients.

But see, I'll be making all fresh food with local ingredients. So I feel the need for greasy, fattiness.

No, no lettuce wedge. Cheese fries. Grease. Pasta. Ice cream rolled in toasted coconut.

But it's dripping in blue cheese and bacon.  How could you resist that?

My eyes seriously got O.O this big. I want to buy the kit to make a blooming onion at home because I love it so much!

  • I can't get past the anti-onion in this post. I'm pearl clutching in an appalled sort of way.

  • Outback. Coconut shrimp appetizer, massive steak, cheese fries, fresh green beans for entree and Chocolate Thunder From Down Under for dessert.

    Now I'm salivating.

  • I'm sure there's still some local greasy spoon you could enjoy more.  Sorry, but I just don't understand going to either of those chains on purpose when there are other options available.

It's the same way I didn't understand the tourists whom I helped direct to Red Lobster.  I live in Hawaii, and they wanted to go to red lobster b/c they got fresh seafood at home. I cannot comprehend.

DH goes for the cheese biscuits. He doesn't eat seafood unless it's the only option next to going hungry.
