i'm super surprised! i thought more of you would say I LOVE THEM! but most people are annoyed! LOL!

totally happy we decided to put the @ in front of them so people have a choice.

and yes, i agree, i'd love more posts about other stuff. i miss that!

This, the posts remind me how very, very little I know about all things PR and babies. The @ posts have helped educate me a bunch.

i think that definitely our board has been overrun by them lately. a few here and there are no problem, and definitely the "i'm ktfu!" or "nestie had a baby!" style posts are definitely 100percent expected. but posts that are like "how much milk, sleep, onesies, etc" belong on the bump.

the major problem is that seattle tb is super duper slow because of the fbook group they are all a part of. i think that if all of us moms/almost moms/wannabe moms could transition, we could help "wake up" tb. (sort of like how a lot of us made the knottie - nestie migration together).

what do you guys think?

I've thought about this too. I'm fine with what ever you ladies decide... is it wierd that I get the vibe there are more lurkers on the bump? I got that vibe when I annouced the birth of bkb and people I knew in my life, who I didn't know were on the bump responded. It seems like there are less of those over here. I feel safer. Probably a false sense of security though.

ok, I'll say it. A main reason I don't hang out on my month board is because it's almost 100% about babies. It's not that I don't like babies, but if I wanted to read about it I'd go to TB. I completely understand that Seattle Nesties are a community and therefore it makes sense to talk about it with the people you knew before having a kid, it just starts to get a little much and I liked it when it was mostly about other things with little bits of @ here and there. Sorry :-/

jennlin-i LOVE the idea of us all migrating over there, but only if we don't leave this board behind in the process! i really don't feel comfortable on gp or ttc or whatever it's called, which i why i came back here. i remember when all of us finally went to tn and i feel like it was awesome.. then i disappeared for a long time until jennlin brought me back. there have been a TON of @ posts.. and sometimes, it is annoying. i know that i've posted a couple things about my temps and this post.. but otherwise, i agree, we should head on over to tb. it would be a fun place.

well, I hate to say it, but it seems sort of inevitable that the board dies down for a little while as ppl migrate over to the bump.
