Word to the wise (raynes mentioned)
When Darian was 5 weeks old, we had a GTG with some friends at our place. One couple, who had a 4 month old at the time, gave us a case of newborn-sized diapers. They said they had received it as a gift but never used them before their baby outgrew the size. For the same reason, I never used them. So I gave them to raynes.
Yesterday I got an email from the lovely, smart lady who actually OPENED the box - turns out, it wasn't diapers at all, it was actually a gift for the aforementioned 4 month old (who is now 10 months). LOL
Word to the wise: don't pack baby gifts in diaper boxes. Or if you do, make sure to tell the recipient to open it!

I stopped opening it once I saw tissue paper! It looks to be very nicely packed!
We're heading into ringy's end of the world on the weekend so I figured I'd leave it wrapped up for her. I had no idea I was the 3rd person it had gone to!
I became suspicious when the weight distribution didn't seem to fit evenly packed diapers. And you could sort of see green through the top. But yeah, if you're going to gift something to new, sleep deprived parents, be blatantly obvious!
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Oh my gosh, that is funny. I'm interested to know what was in the box too.
Ringy are you going to open it or are you going to send it back to your friend without peeking?
I'll take a peek... just for you ladies

Now jumping domestically.
Well that was a crazy couple of years.
That's too funny! Hopefully it's something the kid can still use!
Snoopy did send my ss gift in a diaper box, but fortunately I knew well enough to open it before pawning it off on someone else like the original receiver did!
