We want to take a trip in Early April with our 19 month old twins. We took them to west palm beach and Disney world last year. We live in mn so just like to get away- I usually like the beach but we have to stay in the US and I know our options are limited in April for nice weather. It also needs to be a direct flight from msp- Amy suggestions? We thought San Diego but are having a hard time finding an available room with a. Bedroom (so we can put them to sleep and stay up).
Locations And hotel suggestions welcome- our budget Is pretty open. I don't know how families travel with kids without hotel suites... (separate rooms arent an option- theyre too little)
Re: USA trip in april with twin toddlers- suggestions?
Philadelphia?
It will be nice enough in April and there is the Please Touch Museum here and we have a good zoo.
Yeah that's right my name's Yauch!
I don't know how people with young kids stay in hotels either lol!!! Have you considered renting a timeshare from an owner? We own a Marriott two bedroom timeshare in Myrtle Beach which I love, love, love. It is great because it has two bedrooms, one for the kids, plus a full kitchen. The kitchen is great for breakfast, and lunch. Plus we sometimes cook dinner in but mostly go out for dinner. It is nice to have the option to stay in or go out and save a few bucks here and there. A lot of reputable owners, put their weeks up for rent on redweek.com
As far as the Marriott properties - there are some in Hilton Head, Marco Island, Palm Beach, Myrtle Beach, Newport Coast (close to Disneyland), Arizona etc.
If it is something you are interested in, I would recommend you visit the Marriott vacation club site to see your options of timeshare resorts and then visit redweek with a specific property in mind.
You may wish to consider Sunset Key Resort on a private Key off of Key west.
They are cottages and are beautiful. Your a little late in the game as Spring Break beach is well booked up.
