I love how having Monday's off makes the week go by more quickly.
Last night I got home and Derek was crashed out in bed, so I got some nice birthday cuddles and a nap before making dinner.
We went to Lowes and got the ball rolling for carpet. They have to send the installer out for an "official" measurement, so we should be hearing from them today. Hopefully we can get this squared away in the next few weeks so I can, y'know, set up Chewy's crib and stuff.
Tonight we have our second prenatal class. I'm looking forward to today's class because it includes a tour of the birthing unit. Somewhat scary, but mostly good!

I actually really liked our prenatal classes. I think it set my mind at ease to know what was really going on instead of people telling me garbage to make me feel better.
Apparently my cold heard me when I said it wasn't that bad and I was almost through it. It's now in full force again today. I'm hoping a few night's sleep will help, but that would mean I'd have to be sleeping. Jackson will not let that happen right now.
Jay's uncle passed away yesterday, so we're waiting to find out when all of those events will be. He was involved in a lot of different things, so I'm guessing there will be some special events and such. We're all sort of thankful it's finally over. He was sick for almost 10 years.
Tonight will be just general lounging. Jackson has thankfully been in an awesome mood, regardless of his sleeping habits, so play time at night is so fun.
Snoopy - so sorry to hear about J's uncle.
Yesterday was busy. I ended up out of the office most of the day. After I got home I got in a workout and then took it easy. Today I'll be playing catch up. My boss also has something extra for me to work on. I'm hoping for another workout tonight and then a relaxing evening. I feel like my body is trying to catch a cold and I want to stop that in its tracks.

Morning, all. Last night was very quiet--while Josh went to the gym, I made dinner and caught up on a few things.
Work should also be quiet today. My boss is out, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed because you just never know around here. I have enough to keep me busy, so I just want to keep my head down and hope 5:30 gets here pronto. Then it's home and to the gym.

Today will be another relaxing day. I walked 3 miles this morning (it is SO nice to not be in 30 degree weather to walk) and now we'll hang out by the pool for a few hours, then we're going shopping. Tonight I am going with my parents to a "snowbird" party at a friend of theirs' house.

Snoopy - So sorry about J's Uncle, but glad that he is finally at peace.
I have been at work since 6, but just got back since Zach had an ear recheck. I am happy to say we are finally on the up (I don't want to say it to loud, as I'm afraid I'll jinx it). No more ear infections! YAY. It's crazy because now that they are finally feeling better, I realized that they are really becoming big boys. Now we don't go back to the doc's until their 2 in July.
Anyhow, tonight will be the regular Wed night. DH is working so I will get some snuggle play time, and then hit the sack early.

Last night we finally got some things in the garage organized. We have been needed to do this since we moved in last May. After that we just relaxed and had a much needed beer. Tonight I am going to finish designing some direct mail pieces to send out for my photography business, I can't wait to focus on my photography. Hopefully I can finish them tonight.

I'm off work today because I booked it off as a float day. It's 6 years since my Mom died and I can't be at work in the same hospital where that happened. I plan on getting flowers and taking them to Dad's after work but otherwise I just want to go to the gym today and relax.
Right now I'm having trouble typing because I have a very pathetic kitty laying across my belly and interfering with my typing abilities. I don't have the heart to kick him off.
Hopefully he gets bored soon and goes to sleep on our bed.

I realized last night that I'm totally, TOTALLY petrified about having this baby. I'm scared about the lack of sleep, the cracked boobs... I'm scared I'm not strong enough physically to handle this. The thought of raising this kid doesn't scare me; but everything else that's going to happen to me that totally terrifies me. I may need to start hyperventilating into a paper bag soon.

Today after work we are going to look at a rental property. B finally mentioned a few days ago that he is starting to get tired of this apartment, cue me looking at places. This is a little house just a few blocks away (we do love our area), two bedrooms, new appliances in the kitchen, HUGE backyard. They are looking to get people in for April which is right when DH is finished school, so it should work well.
I was planning to get in a trip to the gym but my alarm went off late and I didn't have enough time. I'll make sure I go tomorrow.

Yesterday was a very hectic day back at the office after the long weekend but hopefully today will be a bit calmer, although the day is already off to a poor start after having to wait 20 minutes for a bus that normally comes within 5. I got into work much later than I hoped so I will have to stay later too.
Jon and I joined a new gym close to our new apartment a couple weeks ago because it didn't make sense to keep going to our old one. I've been trying out all the yoga classes there in hopes to find one that I liked. Most of them have been way too easy or boring, as gym classes tend to be, but I was really hoping I'd find at least one good one per week so I don't always have to shell out $$ to go to a private studio. Last night, I finally found one! AND I made some good headway on my headstand so I am very pleased :-) After yoga, I made gnocchi with that avocado lemon pasta sauce someone posted here a couple weeks ago - it's the second time in a week we've had it for dinner, and it is SO easy and good.

Good morning. Last night was bunco and I actually won, that never happens. I finished my paper/presentation for school tonight before I left work yesterday so I watched Glee when I got home.
Tonight is school and some laundry, pretty uneventful which is totally fine by me. Have a good day ladies!

Last night was another uneventful evening for us. I worked out then made some Jambalaya and garlic cheese biscuits for dinner. After dinner we watched a little TV then went to bed pretty early.
Jason didn't have to be to work until 9:00 this morning so I told my office I had a Dr's appointment this morning and we sleep in.
No big plans for tonight just a workout, dinner, and hopefully I'll have some time to start Living Dead in Dallas.

We had pancakes last night (bacon pancakes, actually - you know, everything really is better with bacon :-), which were yummy. We also saw another rental flat, and this one may actually be a possibilty. It was listed for more than our budget, but we put in a lower offer, and we'll see what happens.
Not much going on today. I didn't sleep well and am really tired, and looking forward to heading home in the next 30 min or so. Probably a lazy night tonight.

I'm back in the office after my 4 day weekend. I'm really enjoying the new job but it's so different than what I'm use to. I'm looking forward to getting more settled and meeting more of the staff. It's hard because over 50% of the employees work remote, most of them out of state.

Reba - I hope it went well.
I was at a seminar this morning and just got in a few minutes ago. It was a waste of time but it allowed me to make a list of all the things I need to order and buy for O's birthday.
No plans for tonight except doing some laundry and figuring out what to make for dinner. Hope you all had a great day.
