What's on your "to-do" list?
This could be short-term, long-term, house, life...
let's hear it ladies.
My attempt to get the board moving.
Re: What's on your "to-do" list?
oh boy. where do i start. short term: filing, roll coins, finish cleaning our stuff out of Blake's closet, get rid of some stuff on freecycle/CL, buy a few new articles of clothing and new shoes, schedule vet appts for my cats.
I have a ton of long term things but I dont even feel like thinking about them right now
I am just going to list everything I need to do in the upcoming months:
-get LO's birthday stuff in order (less than 3 weeks away)
-massive clean up of house
-pay of my credit card
-book a hotel for Sunfest
-plan a date night at least once a month and not feel guilty for have my parents watch DS over night
-spend less at the grocery store each trip (still trying to figure this one out)
-read more books from my Nook...my goal is 50 for 2012
-take more me days and also not feel guilty
-eat a little better (not totally better, but better than I am eating now
Oh my list is long and never, ever ending. A few things (not in any order really):
Get emissions test on my car, mail online shopping returns, mani/pedi, hair cut, hair color, wrap gifts for my parents, bake a cake for this weekend, clean the kitchen floor, finish cleaning/baby-proofing the living room, clean up the pile of stuff on my bedroom floor (previously on the dining room floor - I just relocated it, ugh), change the sheets on my bed
...the list goes on and on.

Here is my random list:
Work on the baby books for the two younger ones, practice cake for A's bday, mail out the invites (less than 3 weeks until party), book vacation, print some pictures, put some clothes up in the attic and get donate some of mine, buy new dog bed, make curtains for our room (with stitchery witchery..ha), decide what we're doing for DS's 16th (!) bday...and my list goes on and on...
Long-term: Run 500 miles this year. See my ticker for my (lack of) progress.
Short-term house goals: Lay the tile floor in the kitchen; Paint some of the living room walls.
Long-term house goals: Replace the countertops in the kitchen, lay hardwood floor in the living room.
Oh, and I really need to buy one or two more bathing suits before our trip to Jamaica in April. And maybe some lingerie, too, since it's the honeymoon we never took :-p

Long Term
Save for new roof, siding and gutters, hopefully we can save enough in the next 2-3 years. This depends on our baby situation too.
Move DD to a larger room so I can make her little room into my office/study
Buy a new car
Budgeting so that we can buy a retirement/vacation home in the next 10-15 years.
Short term
start running again
get up on time
new towels for our bathroom
re-do DD's bathroom - hopefully this will be done later this year
re-do our porch entrance
Organize DD artwork
Do our taxes
Organize our current office (I still have DD's ultrasound pics just laying on the desk)
research day trips for our Florida vacation in September
Plan baby shower/sprinkle
Figure out additional days off this year
Buying new summer bedding for our room
We decided we are getting our windows replaced this year, in the next few months, so then I can get window treatments done.
Meal planning and budgeting.
Everything on my radar these days is house stuff. In somewhat of an order:
-Basement remodel (everything but the bathroom is in progress now)
-New fencing
-Fix up some of the main landscaping - esp around the front of the house
All of that, along with finishing furnishing the dining room and library, are on the short list for this year.
Hopefully the project for next year will be the master gut and remodel. And new ovens that actually fit a full sized cookie sheet.
Family wise, obviously hoping to get a take home baby #2 very, very soon.
Work wise, I'm in limbo until DH figures out what he's doing after school and then gets up and running with it.
So, yeah, a lot. Lol

BFP#2 1/12/12 ~ Missed M/C 8w2d
In the short term, I need to clean my house and get a hair cut.
In the long term, our goal is to get a new house with a nice sized lot that we can fence in and I can have plenty of room in the yard and basement to train with Keefe and my future dogs. In order for this to happen, we will also need a lot of luck to sell our current house.
Short term: finish refurbishing-of-doors project, get DH's dad over here to finish up a few things (kitchen backsplash, fixing some old leak stains on kitchen ceiling, fixing width of closet door in office so we can actually hang a standard door, and some shoe moulding), book our NOLA vacation for Halloween/our 5th anniversary, TTC out one-and-done in spring.
Long term: learn Wordpress enough that I can list it on my resume, sprucing up the back deck in spring.
Extra long term: move in appx 4-5 years to a SFH, out of the city and into a much better school district.
