Boston hotel recs for 6

My husband and I will be traveling to Boston in June for a wedding with 2 other couples. We are looking into possibly getting a hotel room with 3 separate bedrooms (is that even possible?), a 3 bedroom condo or 3 separate hotel rooms depending on what we find.

Does anyone have any hotel recs or recs for trying to find a condo in the area? We'll likely be staying Sunday-Wed or Thursday. Thanks!

Re: Boston hotel recs for 6

  • Where is the wedding going to be?
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • The wedding is actually going to be in Maine but we want to go to Boston while we're in the "area."
  • Depending on where you are going in Maine, that can be a two to eight hour drive before our vicious traffic!!!

The nicer sections of town are Back Bay, on the Charles, and the North End.   The Millennium hotel is at the edge of the North End near Faneuil Hall.    My office puts up people there because it is near the office.

The T (subway) is the best local transport.

I don't get what that means... do you just want 3 bedrooms next to eachother? There's plenty of hotels with adjourning rooms-- meaning they are right next to eachother and they have a door that both couples can unlock if you want to visit. I would just request adjourning rooms when you book. I know at the Sheraton Boston they had two-bedrooms suites with adjourning suite next to it, so you can essentially fit 3 couples in the suites and each get your own privacy. I would personally just book 3 rooms and request to be next eachother-- any big hotel would be able to accommodate-- sheraton boston, hilton back bay, westin copley, marriott copley, etc. You may be able to find a condo rental on vrbo or something similar, but you may have to comprise location in order to get a 3-bedroom.

  • I was thinking a 3 bedroom suite but I had never seen one..just the 2 bedroom but the idea of getting a 2 bedroom suite with an adjourning room would probably be our best bet. Thanks.
