Ever bought a pair of shoes you have nothing to wear with, just because they were cute and/or on sale? Not yet, but that DSW website is tempting me on some really cute heels. But usually I try to buy practical shoes that I can mix and match with clothes I already have.

I do have one pair of heels that dig on my feet so bad I hate to wear them... but I haven't gotten rid of them yet. I have tried the insoles and everything, maybe they were just cheaply made.

I eventually found an outfit that works (but didn't have one in mind when buying the yellow heels). They hurt my feet and were not worth keeping... I was embarrassed when I sold them at a garage sale for a family that was buying them for their toddler to use for 'dress up' and the father asked me what Halloween costume they were for...

I probably spend more on an entire outfit than on a pair of shoes. The only remorse I have is when the shoes hurt like hell after an hour or so. But I primarily sit all day at work, so I can suck it up for the few trips to the bathroom or to the printer room.

If you had family pets (growing up or after), what's the longest a pet has lived? We had a fish (growing up) that lived around 16 years, and a cat that passed away a few years ago was a couple months shy of 20 (H had had her since she was a kitten)

I've often spent more on outfits to go with shoes than the cost of the shoes, but I can usually wear the outfits with other shoes too.

My dad still has three of our pets, and our oldest cat is turning 17 this year.

We assume she ran away to die, as cats sometimes do, but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if she just got bored and is still running around Topeka, KS somewhere, kickin' it at 27.

I bought an adorable pair of shoes at the resale shop I frequent. They were black and white houndstooth with conical heels and a sort of mary-jane style. I wore them the next day to work. I went to lunch, stepped off the curb towards my car, and the strap on one of them broke. I biffed it right in the middle of the parking lot. Scratched up my knees, scuffed the toe of the other shoe, and I think my skirt flipped up. Whoops!

I once walked into Armani Express with my (at the time) gay husband and my (at the time) boyfriend. They made me so annoyed about my style that I spent $200 on a shirt and a pair of jeans.

I don't really have any buyer's remorse stories because if I am buying something that maybe I shouldn't be buying, I get really anxious and start to sweat. If I am sweating, I know that I shouldn't be buying whatever it is I want, so I don't. Strange, but true!

We did in high school. My sister and I graduated with our bachelor's the same semester, so instead of walking the stage, we walked the brick pathway in our cousin's back yard. Classy, I know. I think all two of us did throw our caps.

I have a buyer's remorse story...it was a wedding dress! I was one very emotional bride-to-be. Which is why my grandmother offered to make me a dress I would love!
