My DH is being a wienie.

I stayed up until 1 AM reading. I crawl in to bed, and I'm exhausted. DH wakes up and says he has an earache. He wants to know if we have any peroxide, but we don't. He proceeds to moan about how much pain he's in. I offer to get him something from the store, but he says no, it's ok. And then continues to moan.

Then he says how dizzy he is and he hurts sooo bad, so I offer again to go to the store and find something for his ear. He finally says yes, but he's a little dizzy, so I definitely need to be the driver. We go, get meds and get him all taken care.

It's nearly 3 AM when we get to sleep. I'm dragging right now, and DH just announced that I need to leave early to bring him to work before I go to work...really?

I should make him stop for donuts on the way to his work.

  • You definitely deserve a donut!

Sorry, I hope your day gets better and doesn't keep you dragging.

  • Demand the doughnuts!

And boys ARE weenies when it comes to being sick. A minor cold might as well be pnuemonia in their eyes. Lol.

  • No donuts! But I get paid tomorrow and I'm treating myself to Panera.

    That's the way to go!!!

What is the deal with men being such whiny babies when they are sick?

Which is even better than doughnuts. Ohhh geez, their bread bowls and soup make me a happy girl.

    Kill him.

I would, but there's the whole "you murder someone, you go to jail" thing...ugh.

  • My H is a notorious baby when it comes to being under the weather. It always wound up him poking me repeatedly through the night, waking me up, moaning on how sick he is, and then reject every thing that I offered for him. Then I'd wake up in the morning groggy and irritable because he woke me up and wouldn't let me solve the problem.

So now H has food poisoning and he was moaning all night about how he was so sick and, once again, refusing all that I offered. So when I went to bed, I close the door and locked it. And slept through the night. It was beautiful lol.
