Wanna know what my MIL is doing for her 50th?
She is jumping in the lake at home. Seriously. Its for a great cause though! Its to benefit the Northern California Special Olympics! She and FIL are doing it together. We are going home to watch and then take her to lunch after. Thank good our lake is not too too cold but I plan on having blankets at the ready for her!

My mom and her twin went skydiving for their 50th birthday.
I wonder what it is about that age that makes people want to do crazy stuff.

Polar Bear Plunge is a really popular fundraiser back home in Minnesota. Law Enforcment has one every year that benefits the Special Olympics as well. I haven't had a chance to participate yet but would love too.

ETA: I like your MIL's style... I wanna do something awesome for my 50th. My Mom didn't do anything and my Dad got a Colonoscopy lol.
Yeah I'm super excited for her, I think its going to be a lot of fun to watch. I might do it with her next year!
And yes I want to do something awesome when I turn 50. My mom got diagnosed with caner and my Dad did nothing.
