Post surgery update on Luke
Luke's surgery was two weeks ago and went well. He continued coughing though. At his one week post surgery check up the doctor said that this is normal, that he is still healing. He wanted to see him back in a week (which was today)
In the last few days his cough has become very bad again and he is basically right back to what it sounded and looked like before surgery.
The ENT looked at him today and said his nose looks horrible. Luke will now be getting a machine similar to a nebulizer with a type of Antibiotic that will be "sprayed" right into his nose. This way the antibiotic is not going into his whole body but only locally.
He has to use this "nebulizer" 3 times a day for one month and then we will see what's next
