Re: Did anyone...
Not Catholic either.
no... in fact I've been pretty self indulgent all week. I just ate a snickers and it's only 11 am.
Did you?
I like this!
3/12 5 mi -- 49:22 Pace: 9:52
5/1 Half Marathon -- 2:11:22 Pace: 10:01
5/22 10k -- 56:29 Pace: 9:00
5/24 3.6 -- 29:03 Pace: 8:18
7/10 15k -- 1:44:46 injured Pace: 11:14
10/29 5k -- 28:24 Pace: 9:04
I'm not Catholic (or really that religious) however Catholicism is the religion I identify with most given attending mass as a child with my very religious grandmother. So I tend to do something for Lent just to better myself.
In years past I've given up sweets (which sucked because my birthday is in March) and pop, which has actually worked pretty well. Since I'm not really drinking pop much anymore, I don't feel like that "qualifies".
Sort of similar to what AK is doing (at least the broad concept of it), I decided not to give up anything but to take a couple minutes at the end of each day to journal. I used to keep a journal in middle and high school and have since gotten away from it. I think it will help me improve myself and assist with the therapy I'm doing.
This. Me neither.
