    nope, not Catholic.

    Not Catholic either.

  • no... in fact I've been pretty self indulgent all week. I just ate a snickers and it's only 11 am.

    Did you?

    Vacation
  • Im not Catholic either but was raised methodist and we always gave up stuff for lent.  Im going to attempt to give up soda I think.
  • THe church I grew up in (Catholic, but fairly liberal), taught us that instead of giving something up, you should try to do something better. So I am trying to cook more dinners at home, because it is healthier for me, ds and bf as opposed to eating out 4-5 nights a week.
  • I gave up swearing and I am going to give back to others whether it be an act of kindness, donation or volunteering on a weekly basis.  I hope I can get in the habit and ultimately carry it through past Easter.
Pregnancy Ticker People are placed in and taken out of our lives for a multitude of reasons. My faith has me looking upward so I might stay on my path, forward to reach my future and to either side for the ones to walk near me on my journey.

  • I'm not Catholic (or really that religious) however Catholicism is the religion I identify with most given attending mass as a child with my very religious grandmother. So I tend to do something for Lent just to better myself.

In years past I've given up sweets (which sucked because my birthday is in March) and pop, which has actually worked pretty well. Since I'm not really drinking pop much anymore, I don't feel like that "qualifies".

Sort of similar to what AK is doing (at least the broad concept of it), I decided not to give up anything but to take a couple minutes at the end of each day to journal. I used to keep a journal in middle and high school and have since gotten away from it. I think it will help me improve myself and assist with the therapy I'm doing.

     This. Me neither.
