Thank you so much for the well wishes both here and on FB! It has been a whirlwind week. Between the boys and their activities and a newborn its been just crazy no time to sit. Mackenzie is great such a content baby. We are EBF and she has been eating like a champ. Sleeping 2-3 hours at a time at night and has one nice long nap in the afternoon. The boys love her they are totally entranced by their sister.
And now the details.... I started having contractions Wednesday morning around 3:30. They started out at 20 mins apart went to 15, 10, 7 and then stopped. I had a few here and there during the day but no pattern to them. Around 5pm they came back and stayed however they never really patterned. I would have them at 10 them 7 then 4 them 2 mins apart and it would just jump all over the place. They were pretty painful so at 8:30pm I called the dr to see if they wanted to check me out. The dr told me to come over so we had my mom pick up the boys and at about 9:45pm headed over to the hospital. J was sure we were gonna get sent home so we were not hopeful that that night would be the night. Once we got there I was in so much more pain, they got me settled and checked me out it was 10:15pm and I was 6cm. We were staying and having a baby woo hoo. They called my dr and the anesthesiologist. I had my intratheical at 11pm. I was checked again after at 11:20 and was already 9cm so they broke my water. I was told as I felt pressure I could push on my own as the baby had about 4 inches to come down. I pushed on my own till about 1am. The baby had come down almost all the way. With just a little bit to go the nurse had me change positions to my hands and knees. At this point we knew we were getting close J left me in the care of my good friend and ran to smoke what he knew would be his last cigarette for awhile. I think he needed to get out some nervous excited energy. Three pushes on my hands and knees and I could feel the baby coming. The nurse ran to get the dr and my husband. The dr came in had me turn over and barely had time to get gloves on. She was actually holding in the baby telling me and her we had to wait for daddy. I couldn't LOL. Mackenzie literally shot into the world like a rocket head shoulders and all in one push. Just to get the quickness of this they never turned a light on, broke the bed down or had time to even hand the dr any oil. It was crazy. At NDH it is one hallway to get outside no elevator nothing. J smoked half a cigarette and then ran like a crazy person to my room and the poor thing missed it. When he got there I was holding her already. She was born Thursday morning at 1:35am and was 9lbs and 21 inches long. I guess once she was ready she was really ready. She came so quick she ended up with a ton of mucus in her mouth that she swallowed and it took about 24 hours to clear out. She does have a slight case of hip displasia that they are keeping an eye on and will be reevaluated in 4 months. Otherwise we are all healthy and doing great.

Congrats! What a grand entrance!
Thanks everyone!
@Ali26 - They actually caught the clicking in her hip at the hospital. We had her double diapered for support and followed up with her pedi on Monday. He said that there is a clicking but not on every rotation. He wants her double diapered for 4 months to see if the extra support helps. He will reevaluate it at her 4 month appointment and if there is still any clicking we will go for an xray to see whats going on. He was glad they caught it at the hospital and said that it is important to get it all straightened out before she is at an age where she is putting weight on that hip.
