Anyone know anything about AdvoCare?

I know that it's a MLM supplement company, but I don't know more past that. My stepbrother is a distributor and is going to call me tomorrow to tell me about the "24 day challenge".

Generally I'm skeptical of any MLM company, but if you tell me good things about it, I will be open to what he says.

Re: Anyone know anything about AdvoCare?

  • I'll go ahead and let you know that no one here will tell you good things about it. Wink

Don't waste your money. Stick around this board for fitness and healthy lifestyle advice that don't involve a pyramid scheme.

  • I will admit I tried the 24 day challenge last year.  My gym advertised a 24 day challenge which I signed up for - then found out it was through Advocare.  I had already committed to doing it and figured I would give it a try.

Big waste of money.  I was already working out and eating fairly clean.  I lost maybe 5-6 pounds - but I think I would have lost the same without it.  The fiber drinks are horrendous, the meal replacement shakes are like cake batter (I only tried one).  The diet portion of it is along the lines of clean eating.  But I found that contradictory when looking at the ingredients of their energy drinks, bars and all of that other stuff.

And then it's like a pyramid scheme where they want you to become a distributor.

Don't waste your time.  Put yourself on a 24 day challenge of clean eating and increased exercise and I'm sure you'll see the same result.
