I just signed on for the day, was busy at work.
I'm attempting Bolognese sauce for the 1st time. It smells wonderful! Other than that I plan to Nest, FB and catch up on some tv shows. Nothing exciting.
I made salsa chicken for dinner and finished up some goulash for my mom, since she doesn't do peppers.
Just paying some bills, ordering gifts, gearing up for Criminal Minds.
Trying like hell to relax after a very long (and fun) past week!
DH was called into work because another manager was throwing up... so, instead of spending the evening with him, I'm alone. Oh well.
I went grocery shopping. I budgeted $105, hoped for $80, and spent just under $72. I'm also really proud of myself for prepping food as soon as I got home (i.e. washed the celery, then chopped it for easy snacking - took the grapes off the stem and put them in tupperware in the freezer, etc.)
I made french toast for dinner.
Now I'm Nesting, and happy to rest my sore throat.

I only did the dishes and made mac n cheese. I'm sitting under my electric blanket and watching Top Gear.
I'm still not feeling so hot. I need to buckle down and find a primary care doc.
I was determined to not eat meat today and caved when I stopped by Publix. I don't eat much meat, but a sandwhich sounded really good.
Neighbor had rotator cuff surgery and cant do a lot so I just swept and washed all her floors for her. Hung out with her a little bit. Now just over here at home watching tv, on here, and on fb.

I'm here, just kind of chilling. DH said we'd do In N Out burgers for supper tonight. I need to be making out a menu and shopping list so I can go shopping on Friday.

Milsey - Way to score on that grocery trip! I went on monday and scored pretty well too. I had budgeted $200 (I have a family of 4) and left with $165.00. I also came home right after that and prepped all my produce. I also deboned all the chicken breasts that were on sale for 77 cents a pound. I bought like 6 packages and deboned them all. And french toast for dinner? Excellent choice!

Charity - that was really sweet of you to do for your neighbor. I'm sure she appreciates it. I'm going to go spend the day with my BFF tomorrow who just had emergency gall bladder surgery. She has 2 little ones she needs help with
I'm here, but it's pretty late now so I doubt anyone is still around!
I made cheddar sour cream biscuits tonight and devoured half the batch. Now I'm sitting at the laundromat passing time. DH is here too but he's typing a paper for work.
I don't mind laundromats, as long as they aren't in a creepy basement or something. It's a great place to focus on computer work, because you don't have all your distractions like you do at home and you have no choice but to do your laundry.
But I'm also incredibly glad our TH came with a washer and dryer

I climbed my butt off, came home and made up some refried bean/various veggies dip and had that and chips for dinner, while watching Criminal Minds. It's been a pretty dandy evening!
I should be tired, and need to be sleeping cause I haven't done that too much recently... but I'm just not there yet. Bah!
I actually don't mind it either.
Ours is right across the street and well lit (not in a basement thank goodness, haha). We like to do our laundry late at night when no one else is over here so we can chat or do whatever without getting in other people's way.
I do miss our old apartment with its own washer and dryer sometimes though!
