Has anyone done a Warrior Dash?
Any tips?
I'm doing one in CT in June. My wave goes off at 2:00.

Re: Has anyone done a Warrior Dash?
I seriously did no specific training for it. I teach a whole bunch of group fitness classes, but I didn't really get back into running until *after* I'd done the WD. And I live at 5280, but the race was in the mountains at 10,000 ft.+ and I still was in the middle of the pack.
It really sparked me to get back into running so now I've been doing a bunch of 10K's, started CrossFitting, and am doing Tough Mudder in June.
The obstacles are not terrible. The hills were the worst and the mud was ridiculous, but general fitness and a small running base is all you need.
My biggest issue with my race was that I did my longest run (to that date) the day before and my legs were toast. Between that and the deep mud at the beginning, I hard a hard time actually running when the course opened up.
Stay hydrated for such a late start and bring a towel and a change of clothes so you don't have to drive home all muddy like.
