And ummm, HEY ALL! I've been MIA for a while. Planning this wedding/working tons of overtime has really cut into my nesting/TIP time! Miss y'all!

We were just chatting about her the other day! I think she erased her blog entries regarding the affair after he cheated again and she buried her head in the sand.
How are the wedding plans coming??
Every once in a while I randomly think of her and it always makes me sad. Her ppor son.
Anywho, about me! lol. Wedding planning has been kicked into overdrive! I DIY'ed my invitations which has turned into quite the labor of love. FI has helped where he can (cutting ribbon, stamping and stuffing envelopes, random back massages, etc). We did our final food and cake tastings this past weekend! OMG, the food! I already asked the caterer to make us to go boxes because I have to eat that dinner!
I think the most interesting thing that has happened is that we started premarital counseling. It is intense! I thought it was just going to be a weekend seminar where we learn communication techniques and do fun stuff. I. Was. Wrong. We are in a full on, 8 session counseling program. And the shiits getting deep. FI and I have been together for 6 years, but we're still learning so much. Its been really beneficial so far. I'm really glad we're doing it. I'll elaborate if you want.
Doglove--Hows your planning coming?! Are you still doing the pumpkin/fall inspired centerpieces?
Ohh I might need some advice on DIY invitations in a few months! Right now I'm working on DIY bookmarks for save the dates - or "bookmark the date!"
Things are going okay, our ceremony place booked a performance at the adjoining outdoor theater on our wedding date, which means we get kicked out and now are scrambling to find another place. I think I might go with glass fish bowl kind of vases for the centerpieces with a white pillar candle and the bowl filled with cranberries. We're kind of sticking with deep red and navy blue colors so I think the cranberries will be nice.
FI started his red wine batch a few weeks ago and we'll probably start the white in the next week. We are giving out our homemade wine as wedding favors, hopefully they'll come out tasting delicious!
